❀ The author, aka me. ❀

When I started this book in 2017 (yes I know that's a long time but don't kill me I had major writers block) I said to myself, "Isabel, no one's going to read this book. It'll probably be a flop like all of your other books and you won't end up finishing it. You'll just delete the whole thing."

Thank god I didn't listen. Stupid 14 year old me.

Anyways, as cheesy as it sounds, I can't imagine my life without this book. It's the first fanfic that I am somewhat proud of, and actually liked how it ended. It's also the first book that I continued to write, even though I had only a few readers, 5 votes, and 0 comments.

Yet something I had to keep reminding myself is that numbers don't matter. If I like the chapters I'm writing, if i'm satisfied how the book is playing out, then that's all that matters. However, I will admit that the amount of votes and reads I got pushed me to keep writing. So that's why I say thank you a dozen times. Because you all helped me without realizing it.

I'm really going to miss this story because I finally grew in love with these characters towards the end. In the start of this book, I didn't give much personality to the characters I created, and I think that's why I struggled writing it. Yet the more I knew what I wanted this book to be, and how I wanted the characters to play out, I got more and more into writing chapters. I'm really glad I didn't give up.

So, as sad as it is, this is the end of The Roommate | Zach Herron. There probably won't be a sequel, considering I don't get enough comments to know if any of you would want a sequel. However, if this book ever becomes big in the future, I'd gladly make a sequel. Either Zach and Everly again or if you want, Ben and Nick's story (cause they lowkey cute as hell) I don't know, but just an idea.

So, thank you again to the people who stuck along for this long, but hopefully amazing journey. I hope I touched a few hearts with a couple, or maybe all the chapters. If I did, then who cares about anything else? That's the most touching feedback a writer can receive.

Anyways, thanks again for giving my book a chance. Voting, commenting, and adding it to your library, showed how much you cared. Forever grateful for everything this book brought me. See ya on the next book? <3 -Izzy
