I woke up and went about my business. After that, I headed downstairs. I was eating when CJ came with a note in her hand.

"The young master requested to give you this.", she said handing me the piece of paper. When I opened it, it said he was in the hospital. He left, again. Well, at least I know where he was.

When I was done. I decided to head to the hospital. I was wearing black jeans and a blue top. I took my purse and my phone. Mekhi decided to drive me there.

I arrived there an hour later. I asked the nurse at the reception for Natalie's ward and she told me. I took the elevator and arrived at her floor.

I headed towards the ward. The door was slightly opened and Ansel and his mum were talking. I wanted to enter but I decided not to interrupt. As I turned around,

"When are you going to tell her? She's your wife Ansel.", Natalie said and I stopped in my tracks.

Tell me what. She must have come out of the coma.

"I don't know.", he said.
"She already loves you and the more you delay the worse the outcome could be.", she said and then whispered something I didn't hear.

What could they be talking about? I decided to turn away and not enter.

"Riley.", Natalie called out as I was about to leave and I entered slowly.
"Natalie, how are you feeling now?", I asked.
"Fine. It was a false alarm nothing to be serious about, but Ansel here treats it like a narrow death escape.", she said, she just indirectly called a coma a false alarm. I felt him look at me but I didn't look at him.

He hurt my feelings yesterday when he told me he needed privacy, who needs privacy from their wife?

"Well, we should be glad it wasn't. I'm so glad to see you better now. I'll go get some coffee.", I said. "Ansel would you like some coffee or are you too tired to have some?", I asked and he looked at me trying to decipher what I meant.
"Coffee would do.", he said and I left but he followed me.

"Riley.", he called when we were out of Natalie's room.
"Yes."
"Uhm. Thanks for coming.", he said and he shoved his hands into his pockets.
"Yeah, even if you don't want me here I'll still come.", I said.

"It's not that I don't want you to come but if you don't feel comfortable you can go home. I don't want you here under the impression that you have to be here.", he said.

Oh, so he was stylishly telling me to go home. Fine, I won't want to be where I'm not needed.
"Fine.", I said. "I'll head home then, at least call me.", I said managing not to scream at him.

I turned around and left. He didn't call me back or say goodbye. I felt like crying, why was he treating me this way? Was this his way of dealing with sick family members?

I got home and went straight upstairs. I was a bit hungry but I didn't feel like eating. So I worked and worked and worked. I dozed off at some point and woke up with neck pain. But I continued

It was night. Ansel hadn't called me yet, maybe he forgot. I was playing a game on my laptop when the door opened. It was Ansel.

"How was it?", I asked.
"She's much better now, she'll be discharged tomorrow. She said she's already tired of being there.", he said and cracked a smile. That's the first I've seen in days.

I continued the game as he went to the bathroom. Minutes later he came out. I closed my laptop and got set to sleep.
"You're going to bed?", he asked but I didn't reply. "No goodnight kiss then.", he said but I did not answer.
