Another Telmarine, Lord Sopespian, approached Miraz and suddenly, yelled.

"Treachery! They shot him! They murdered our king! To arms!", Reagan was truly confused. No one had shot Lord Miraz, but he seemed to have one of Susan's arrows on his back. While she was thinking, Lord Sopespian rode back to the Telmarines and they started the catapults, while the whole Narnian army went to their positions.

The war had begun: the clashes of the swords everywhere, screams of pain. Although she had been told to stay up there, Reagan could not handle seeing the Narnians die without her doing anything to prevent it, so she entered Aslan's How and put an armour on.

She knew were the sword she used for training was, so she quickly took it and got out to the battlefeld. I think it is important to remind you that Reagan had no clue about how to put on an armour properly, so there were plenty of places in which a Telmarine could hit her, but she did not care.

She had been out there for just some minutes, trying not to die, when the ground collapsed under the Telmarines, making only a few of them able to continue. One of them seeing that the little girl had no clue of what she was doing, came right at Reagan and started fighting with her.

It all seemed to be going alright. It was not the best fight the Telmarine had seen but Reagan defended herself the best she could. However, Reagan became distracted for a second and the Telmarine stabbed her on the leg, making her fall to the ground. Right when she hit on the grass beneath her and he raised his sword ready to kill, a tree branch took his ankle and threw him away like a rock flying out of a slingshot.

"For Aslan!", Peter yelled and the Narnians continued fighting. Reagan took her helmet off, in need for air, and saw through the tears the most amazing thing she had ever seen. The trees were alive, fighting along the Narnians. The Telmarines were retreating towards the bridge and Lucy had appeared alongside a lion that Reagan recognized even if she had not seen him ever: Aslan.

     Aslan had that power.

The Telmarines tried to charge against Aslan, but he roared and the water of the bridge creating some sort of water-human-figure that made the Telmarines fall. The Pevensies plus Caspian kneeled in front of the Lion.

"It seems that one of you is missing," Aslan spoke to them, moving his head to look at Reagan, still on the ground.

The five of them turned around looking for the girl, and once they saw her, ran to her side.

"Why can't you listen?", Edmund asked the girl not knowing if he was angry, disappointed or worried. Probably the three of them, "I told you you weren't ready, Re. You could have gotten yourself killed."

"I wanted to help, the Narnians deserve to have their kingdom back," she explained, her voice cracking due to the pain while Edmund looked at Lucy, urging her to use her cordial, "I did not want to be useless anymore."

"And they have it, little one. Lucy, I think it is time to use your cordial once more," Aslan signaled Lucy and she did as told, "just know, you have not been useless at all. You have shown immense bravery, you fought for what you thought was right, and that is admirable."

A single drop of the red liquid fell into Reagan's mouth, making her feel instantly better. Edmund hugged her tightly, all of them joining the hug. Shortly after, the six kneeled in front of the lion.

"Rise, kings and queens of Narnia," Aslan ordered. The Pevensies rose, Caspian and Reagan still on the ground, "all of you."

Aslan insisted looking at Caspian, who looked at him back.

"I do not think I am ready."

"It's for that very reason I know that you are," he explained solemnly, Caspian then rose too. Reagan continued on the ground, for she wasn't part of the Narnian royalty, "Reagan, rise."

The girl did as told and rose.

"Your intentions were pure and noble, that is why you deserve to be along the kings and queens," spoke the lion once more.

At that very moment, music started coming from somewhere. It was from the mice, who were carrying Reepicheep, quickly healed by Lucy's cordial. But something was still missing, his tail. After a conversation with Aslan, a new one grew on the little mouse. Trumpkin also came along, earning a roar from the mighty lion. But Reagan was too focused on other things.

He felt awfully bad for Edmund. He had trusted her and she had disobeyed him, although she had her reasons. Above all, she did not want her friend to be angry at her.

"Edmund...", she approached the young king, "I wanted to apologize. You ordered me what was the best for me and I did not obey you. I just thought it would be right for me to fight, everyone was doing something but me."

"It's okay Re. I understand why you did it. But let me train you more for the next one so you don't get yourself killed, please."

"It will be my pleasure, your majesty," she bowed giggling, making Edmund laugh too.

All of the Narnians who were there turned to look at the pair and smiled, never had they seen Edmund smile like that, let alone lately.

"We should be heading to the castle," Aslan suggested already walking. They all obeyed and followed him. There, all the Narnians were already waiting for all of them and, when the lion arrived followed by the Kings and Queens of old and by Prince Caspian, they started cheering. That made Reagan feel out of place and somewhat ashamed to walk alongside the royalty of Narnia. She was not part of the it after all, and she had not been victorious on the battle. So why was she there? Just because she was friends with the Pevensies, she believed.

"I don't belong here, Edmund. I don't deserve the cheering," she whispered to the brown-eyed boy.

"Shut up already, Re. If you're here it is because you are supposed to be. I already told you that nothing happens by accident here on Narnia, it is all Aslan's might," he explained, taking her hand to prevent her from stopping and going back. They arrived to where five thrones were arranged and they stood in front of them.

"Please, take your seats: High King Peter, the Magnificent; Queen Susan, the Gentle; King Edmund, the Just; Queen Lucy, the Valiant; King Caspian X," as Aslan recited the titles, the names were sitting on their respectful thrones, and just when everyone though he had finished, another throne, although smaller than the other five, was brought into the room and Aslan spoke again, "and princess Reagan, the pure."

The girl was as surprised as one can be, she looked at Aslan with her mouth agape and he signaled for her to take a seat besides Caspian. She did as ordered and smiled all the way through the process. Once she sat, all the Narnians applauded them, and they were all presented with a crown, that was put on their heads by dryads.

Although Reagan was extremely happy, she could not help but feel odd. The crown sat weirdly on her head and she did not feel worthy of wearing it. She did not know when (or even if) she was going back home. And she did not know either how to be a princess, all of her friends had experience on that, what if the Narnians hated her because of it?

Once they all got up of their thrones and all the Narnians approached the Kings and Queens of old and King Caspian X, she walked outside to get some fresh air.
