THE TELMARINES' CASTLE₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪₪
The whole Narnian army plus the Pevensies, Caspian and Reagan were in the Stone Table room, planning the next strike to the Telmarines. It all sounded extremely far fetched to Reagan, who had only read about this kind of wars on the history books."It's only a matter of time. Miraz's men and war machines are on their way. That means those same men aren't protecting his castle," Peter explained to the Narnians. Reagan had to say, Peter looked much older and more mature when acting as a king.
"What do you propose we do, Sire?", the little mouse, Reagan had learned that his name was Reepicheep, asked the High King. But Caspian mistook his question and started answering just as Peter did. Both looked at each other, death glares you could say, but Caspian conceded and let Peter speak.
"Our only hope is to strike them before they strike us," he concluded.
"But that's crazy, no one has ever taken that castle," Caspian explained, taking into account that he had lived in that castle for years.
"There's always a first time," Peter stated. Trumpkin agreed with him and then yet another argument started not only between the prince and the High King, this one also included Trumpkin, Susan, Edmund and Trufflehunter.
Once again, Peter was not listening to his people, so he turned to Glenstorm and asked if they could handle the guards once inside the castle. Obviously, Glenstorm answered positively, but added something that made Reagan scrunch her nose: "Or die trying, my liege."
"That's what I'm worried about," Lucy intervened for the first time. If there was something that Reagan had learned from being at the meetings, was that Lucy wasn't taken into account very often, which was a pity. Because, through Reagan's eyes, Lucy was smarter than anyone thought she was.
"Sorry?", her brother asked wanting her to explain her statement.
"Well, you're all acting like there are only two options: Dying here, or dying there," she did as told. In fact, and once again, she was right. But also once again, she wasn't listened.
"I'm not sure you've really been listening, Lu."
"No, you're not listening. Or have you forgotten who really defeated the White Witch, Peter?", she continued, tired of her older brother already.
"I think we've waited for Aslan long enough," Peter stated and kicked both Lucy and Reagan our of the room, mainly because they were not to fight.
When the meeting ended, the whole Narnian army got out of Aslan's how and Edmund walked towards the two girls.
"Ready to train?", he asked Reagan.
