"We're going swimming" Annabel announces the minute I put my book down
"So early?"
"Well since the time I was born I was never told 12:30pm was early"
"Whatever, oh wait; I don't have a costume"
"Oh don't worry about that, I have a lot of new ones you can borrow"
"Fine" I huff
I get up and she starts to pick different bikinis out of her closet, until she gets to one and tosses it to me. I take it from her and examine it, yes I examine it. For one I don't want to go, so wasting the time would be worth it.
"Put it on already" she whines
"Fine, before you kill and drag my limp body to swimming"
"That's not a bad idea at all" she replies and I roll my eyes
I make my way into the bathroom and strip out of my clothes and put on the swimsuit. At least this one is decent.

I emerge out of the bathroom and Annabel scans my body
"If I wasn't straight, I'd so do you" she winks
"Well I'm straight as a pole" I say and we both chuckle
"Where's the swimming pool?" I ask as we get downstairs
"Right around that corner, for your information is huge"
"Do I look like five?"
"Ok so we're going for a competition" she says
"On the count of five, five, four, three, two, one" she says and we dive in. I go as fast and as far as I can until I get to the end
"You lost!"
She rolls her eyes
"Hey ladies" Jace greets

"Hello" I greet
"Anna mum wants to talk to you" he says and she's out
"Wish me luck" she says and my confused expression stares at her retreating figure
"What was that about?" I ask, turning to Jace
"Mind if I join you?"
"Not really, come on in" I say and he jumps in, splashing water all around
"What the fuck?" I hiss and splash water in him too
And that's what we do, splash water on each other until I take notice of the close proximity My back facing the pool wall and both of his arms caging me in with him hovering and towering over me. I stop everything I'm doing instantly and look up at him, much to my disdain, he doesn't release me, but leans in. And I find myself not objecting, faster than anyone can comprehend, his lips are on mine.
