Soon the whole midterms we planned came to an end, and we have to go. I must admit I enjoyed my stay to the fullest, though there's a sting in my heart knowing I won't be able to see Jace as often as I did when I was here, but I know I'll see him again, that's for sure. I take my luggage downstairs and set it at the front door, the butler takes it to the car along with Annabel's own that'll be taking us to the airport.
I gobble up the breakfast Cynthia was kind enough to make as we have to be fast so as to not miss the flight.
"Let's get going shall we?" Anna asks as I finish with my breakfast and see Cynthia coming down the stairs
"Yes." I answer
"Thank you for the warm welcome and the humble stay Cynthia, and please thank Ben for allowing me into his home" I express my gratitude, turning to Cynthia
"You were a humble good girl, it wasn't so hard, and Ben testifies to that. We rather hope to see you again" she says, opening her arms to give me a hug, and I oblige
"Thank you once again Cynthia"
"Okay bye momma" Annabel says, hugging her mother. I feel my pocket to reach for my phone but it's not there.
I think I left it upstairs
"I think I left my phone upstairs, let me get it" I say to Annie
"Okay, don't take long" she says
I jog up the stairs and enter the room I slept in with Annie and see my phone charging on the nightstand. I unplug the phone and take out the charger when a voice startles me
"So you're leaving" Jace says dryly
"Unfortunately..."
"I hope to see you again though"
"You know you'd see me again"
"So it's not a goodbye then"
"No, I'm not that good with goodbyes, it's more of like, see you later"
"See you later then Detia"
"See you later" I say and peck him on the lips. But boy is not ready to release me soon, as he deepens the kiss. Remembering I have Annabel downstairs who can come in any minute, I pull away.
"See you, Stark" I say and get down the stairs
"What took you so long?" Annie asks once I'm in the car
"I'm here now aren't I?"
"Let's go then"

"I'll get this" I say to Annie when we reach the apartment and soon after the bell rings
I open up and find Gideon standing at the door. After a hectic flight I also have to deal with this upon the exhaustion
"What do you want and how did you know I lived here?"
"One question at a time, besides, this place might look big but is not big enough to misplace someone, and also I came for you" he says and I let out a humorless chuckle
"You know, you're a joker. I think the drugs you take have started making you go crazy. Now leave"
"How did you know I take drugs?"
"Oh, so you were too high that you can't even remember, how am I sure you're even sober now? Anyways, that's your water to boil, now leave I tell you"
"Whatever, but know I'll be back for you, because no one can make you feel alive like I did"
"It would have been better if you stayed with me and didn't make me feel alive, at least then I'll know what I was missing, but you make me feel alive one second and break me the next, I don't even know what to complete the pieces now. So please do me a favour and leave, and yes, don't return" I say and slam the door shut in his face, not bothering for an answer. What an asshole!
"Who was it?" Annie asks
"An intruder, I'll place the order, Chinese fine?"
"Sure, extra black pepper"
"Got it"

Gideon's POV
I can't believe I was that stupid. Now she knows I do drugs. Now I have to strike a plan. Because I am going to get her back no matter what, and she's going to take me back wether she likes it or not. How ever long it takes, I'll get her
"That chick still hunting your mind?" Luca, the frat leader, asks
"She's not a chick, now let's get ready for the hazing process in Saturday, who's getting the good stuff?" I asks
"You"
"How much I'm I suppose to rob them of? I mean how much money worth of it?"
"Five thousand dollars"
"Mhm, I can do that"
"When?"
"Tonight"
