"Y-Your PA?" I asks, surprise and happiness taking over my features at the same time

"Yeah, the place is free, you need a job, I'm paying you, why not?"

"No no no, I want it. When do I start?"

"Tomorrow"

"But I don't have the full time"

"I know, is just in the afternoon"

"Well don't you have to check my resumé or something"

"I know you Detia, you're a smart girl, I don't have to look at pieces of papers before I hire someone like you"

"Well I didn't want you to think I'm taking advantage of you"

"Stop it, you're not taking advantage of me, now come on, let me drop you back"

"Well thanks"

He says and opens the door for me and we head to his silver Audi SUV

How any cars does this guy have?

"So mind telling me why you want a job all of a sudden?"

Blood is for sure thicker than water, this is the same thing Annabel asked me the moment I announced my want for a job

"Well I just want something to do with my free time, and I want it to be something meaningful, so I decided to get a job, I mean I took a job in highschool so I have a resumé and what not"

"Is that the only reason, because I feel there is more"

"I just wanted to get away from the university drama you know"

"And that'll be?"

"My Ex. I think our break up took a much heavier toll on him and so he got himself into drugs, and now he's under the impression that I'm happy without him so in his defence he's doing everything to get me back" I explain

I don't know why I tell him what I do,  but I just feel comfortable talking to him and that makes me feel safe, sort of. Knowing someone cares and is ready to listen

"I see. So it's not like you need money"

"No, it's far from that, I know I don't go off as the girl who screams rich and everything, but I have quite enough money to last me a lifetime, so it's not about money, that I'm sure of"

"Well, I don't like the idea of the boyfriend-"

"Ex. Boyfriend" I correct

"Sorry, I don't like the idea of the ex boyfriend, but if he tries anything you tell me okay?" He says, his possessive aura taking over

I nod

"Use your words Detia"

"Noted. I promise"

"Good, we're here" he says and I look out the window and realise we're infront of the apartment building

"So see you tomorrow in the afternoon?" I giggle

"Definitely"

"Thanks Jace, I'm grateful"

"Come closer" he says and I oblige

Once I do, he captures my lips into a tender kiss, his tongue moulding mine in a perfect sync, me on cloud nine, damn he's a good kisser. He slips his tongue into my mouth, exploring every inch, and I moan as he bites on my bottom lip and I pull away, breathing heavily

"We should stop before this gets out of control" I mutter

"See you Detia" he pecks my lips softly and I take my bag and out of the car I go
I open my apartment door once he's out of view

"That was one heavy makeout" Anna says the moment I enter

WTAF?!

"You saw?"

"Yep. But that was nauseating, is my brother we're talking about"

"You aren't annoyed?"

"My brother is old enough to make his decisions Dee, besides, he couldn't be with anyone better"

"We're not together, I don't know what we are"

"So you mean you guys kiss and everything but you don't have the courage to talk about what 'relationship' you share"

"First of all we don't do everything, and secondly maybe is too fast to talk about these things"

"Is never too fast, but if you guys what to take your time that's fine"

"How come you're home this early?"

"Was exhausted, so I faked stomach ache and got a slip off class"

"That wasn't advisable"

"Just this once"

"If you say so"
