Chapter 14
Jen P.O.V
I wake up to my mum yelling at me.
“Zac’s here!” she yells.
What the fuck? It’s been about a week since he has last bothered to talk to me. I’m not sure if he has heard about what happened, but I never told him about myself and Josh. I also know Josh wouldn’t ever say anything to Vanessa.
I don’t know where I currently stand with him. Josh I mean.
“JENNIFER!” My mum yells. Shit, I forgot my boyfriend was here.
I quickly jump out of bed and run into my bathroom, I practically throw my hair up, and then try to do my makeup at the best of my ability, as I wanna talk to Zac.
I go back into my room and I pick out my clothes, I get my favourite top, my Nirvana cropped top. I then get my favourite acid-wash jeans and head downstairs.
“Hey beautiful,” Zac says sweetly. I don’t even know how he can treat me like this, he hasn’t called or anything. Not a single word to see if I’m okay this week.
“Hey,” I reply back, coldly.
“Sweetheart, I am just going out to run some errands. I will be back in a couple hours,” My mum says as she walks into the room.
“Okay mum,” I tell her.
“Hi Zac,” Mum says.
“Hi Mrs Lawrence,” Zac replies.
With that, my mum waves and she leaves. Leaving myself and Zac alone.
“So Jen, how have you been? What’s up? You’re upset, I can see it,” Zac asks.
“Congratulations Zac,” I snap.
“wowowowo, calm down babe,” Zac says hugging me. I don’t object, Josh hasn’t said anything to me either. Nothing since that day when he was last here. The day when he was outside my bathroom. We said we loved each other. Maybe he was just messing around with me.
“I’m sorry for snapping at you Zac, I just wished you would of called, I needed to talk to someone, and my brothers and parents didn’t really make the cut,” I say.
“It’s okay. I’m sorry for not calling, my phone went missing and I still can’t find it,” he says.
“I knew you wouldn’t of just spent a week without calling!” I squeal and jump into his arms.
Zac kisses me, and it keeps going until we fall onto the couch.
** 2 weeks later **
Zac keeps wanting to have sex, but, I didn’t feel like losing my virginity at 15. Maybe in a couple months, when I am with the right person, and I honestly don’t feel like Zac is the right one.
Liam Hemsworth, one of Josh’s friends, and I have become really really close. I don’t really have anyone anymore, I mean Lauren - she moved away, Vanessa – total bitch.
Liam, hes so sweet and he called me wondering if I was okay. We got to know each other so well, and I think we now consider each other to be best friends.
I remembered that we arranged to meet for lunch today, at the mall.
Its around 11:45am and I’m meeting Liam at 12:30pm.

Liam and I sit at a booth and we just talk more and more about stuff, but then we get into the relationship talk.
“So Jennifer, how are you and Zac?” he asks.
“Um… Well I broke up with about 2 weeks ago,” I say.
“Oh, why?” Liam questions.
“I am in love with someone else. Zac I think was also lying to me,” I explain.
“Ahh, who is it if I am allowed to know? I mean I have never had a friend like you Jen. I consider you to be my best friend, and I hope you think the same of me, you can tell me,” he looks me straight in the eyes.
“Okay. It’s Josh,” I look away when I say his name.
“WHAT?” Liam yells.
“Liam, please.”
“Sorry. I just honestly didn’t see that coming,” he admits.
Then I tell him about Josh choosing Vanessa.
“That dick,” Liam says.
“I changed my facebook relationship status back to single now, maybe that might help. But I doubt it will” I reply.
“Maybe it will, you should come and hang out with us all tomorrow, our group. We are all going to the beach. I have a plan. You’ve been single for about 2 weeks or so now right? So tomorrow, Josh will no doubt trying to make you jealous. As you said he felt the same for you. What we have to do is act all lovey dovey. Flirt loads and then he will be boiling with rage,” Liam states, and then smirks.
“Now that sounds like the perfect plan,” I wink at Liam and he winks back.
