Marnik: The Return Of The Jewel-Completed

Chapter Two

Hadley's P.O.V

Gerdad knowing that I am alive is bad news for everyone. He's out to get me and won't stop until he either has the Jewel or I'm dead. Both those things would not be good for us and everyone on the planet. My job is to return the Jewel before Gerdad gets it and controls the planet or worse the planet dies. Well I guess the planet dying wouldn't be the worse thing but still. I've suffered through life and death I don't need any more trouble coming my way. Over my dead body will I let Gerdad win or take anything from me, ever again. I will not die on Gerdad's behalf and no one else will. "We need to have a plan to attack Gerdad," I mutter.

"We will," Owen assures, " but you can't be apart of that plan. You need to get the Jewel to the planet to save it. "

"Not to mention you can't kill anyone," Jacob mentions.

"You don't know that for sure," I mumble.

"Then try," Jacob laughs. I pull out a knife and lunge at him only to freeze in place mid-air. I gonna fall, I thought. I drop the knife and continue to fly at him. He catches me right before I punch him. "Looks like you can't kill anyone."

"Stupid," I mumble.

Owen comes up and rubs my back. "You might not be able to kill but you still can be a hero," he whispers to me.

I just wish he didn't do that. All I want to do is to kill Gerdad by myself. I don't want someone help me do it. I want to kill him myself. "Yeah, I'm so much of a hero," I mutter in response.

Terrance's P.O.V

"Terrance, hurry up and get those boys out of here," Gerdad yells at me.

"I'm hurrying," I yell in response, "We need to gather supplies."

Cam was going to get some more food while we were moving but I didn't tell Gerdad because he doesn't want Cam coming with me. I just hope Reagan agrees to come and help. I haven't seen her in months because Gerdad been moving us around so much. I just miss her so much. I know that she won't agree to kill anyone but I just want to spend time with her. I can't spend time with her when Gerdad is around. He doesn't allow any girls at the camp ever since some girls kicked him out of a tribe. He doesn't want anyone else to find someone to love because the person he loved was in that tribe. The girl knows that he loved him but she still help kick him out. Now he hates all girls and no one can leave. He must kick you out or you get killed if you try to leave. Cam came running back into the camp with a leaf for me and lots of food. "Boys, lets get moving out," I yell, "Caleb, hurry up."

Forest's P.O.V

"I'm hungry," Hadley complains for the hundredth time.

She keeps saying she was hungry every twenty minutes. Every time Owen tells her to wait. I was starting to mad. "Hadley, can you just shut up?" I yell.

"Jeez, Forest, are you mad?" she questions.

"Yeah I'm mad," I reply more calmly, "You've asked that at least fifty times."

"Well I'm hungry," she mumbles.

"We understand that," I frustrate.

"Okay you two knock it off please," Lizzy pleads throwing something at Hadley.

"Fine," we grumble in unison.

Hadley really gets on my nerves sometimes, but I've gotta get along with her for Lizzy's sake. Honestly, I saved her life and fall in love with her sister. Now I have to get along with her. It is super annoying at times like these. She can act like a five year old at times and at others like she is an adult. I miss being alone and not having to worry about anyone but myself. The only other person I want to be with is Lizzy. It would be nice to it just be her and I. I wish I met her before she found her sister and brother. I bet that I could've convinced her to stop looking for her. I guess fate had different plans for me. It always does. Flana comes running up to Hadley wagging her tail. Hadley's face went bright when she saw her. "Flana?" Hadley yells.

Florence P.O.V

Hadley saw Flana and her face went bright with happiness. It was like her hunger was gone and was now replaced with happiness. I don't understand how her feelings change so fast but that is one thing that made me fall in love with her. That girl is an absolutely adorable that way. "Hadley, I don't think Flana is the same as she use to be," Owen whispers sounding suspicious.

"What she looks the same?" Hadley mumbles.

I see that look in Flana's eyes, they were glowing gold. I pull Hadley away as fire started blowing out of her mouth. Flana is a flammer, I thought to myself, her dog is actually a flamming. "Hadley, Flana is a flammer," Owen exclaims.

"What?" she asks, "no she isn't."

"Her eyes have always been gold," Owen explains, "she just breathed fire at you. That means she is about to be 20 if she is breathing fire."

Hadley had tears start to roll down her face. It hurt me a lot to see her cry. I've known her for months and each time I see her I feel as if I am falling in love again. Hadley has a heart of gold but she doesn't have strength in her to see someone get hurt. "Hadley, it'll be alright," I whisper to her.

"Florence, It'll never be alright," she cries, "Flana is turning into a fox like creature. I won't have a pet dog anymore."

"You'll have an even better pet," I whisper to her, "you'll have a pet that will help you survive and protect her."

Terrance's P.O.V

"Reagan?" I question as she walks up to me.

"Terrance," she cries out hugging me.

It felt like I was meeting her for the first time. I met her five years ago but I've never stopped loving her. I looked up to see that she brought her brother Jacin with her. I haven't seen Jacin for a few months. Jacin and I have been best friends. He actually was the one who insisted me and Reagan meet. Jacin is like a brother to me. "How's things going with Aloisia?" I ask him.

"I haven't seen her in a year," he replies, "I had Hadley take me away last year for her own protection. Fredik has been out to kill me ever since I told him that CaDence was done with him."

"Who's CaDence?" I ask.

"Well she is Cam's little sister that he doesn't know about," he replies.

I had my arm over Reagan's shoulder as we walk back to the boys. I chose the ones I did because I already knew that they know that Reagan and I have been together for years. "Techincally CaDence isn't Cam's little sis," Reagan comments, "she is a only a 9 months younger than him."

"Well still his little sister, Reagan," Jacin laughs.

"Well I hope you don't mind that I am on a mission to go out and find some people and kill them for Gerdad," I tell them, "I'm only suppose to return with one of them and there are four of them that need kill."

"Do you know their location?" a girl yells walking up that looked like Cam.

"You must be, CaDence," I greet, "and yes I know where they are heading."

"Well I'm in if you let me come with you guys," she suggests, "and yep I'm the one and only CaDence."
