Chapter Sixteen

Florence's POV

Hadley looks fine now. What happened to the cut on her wrist that was turning black? It was killing her but now she's fine. It makes no sense,  but if I realize that nothing makes sense in this world. I've died multiple times. Hadley has died and came back to life. Hadley also isn't able to kill anyone without using the Blade of Stars. "Haddy," I sigh, "your okay. But how?"

"Ummm," the other girl replies, "I don't know what I did?"

"What do you mean what you did?" Jacob whispers. His words were still full of venom. I don't know why he hates this girl so much. She didn't do anything wrong.

"I really don't know what I did," the girl answers.

Jacob stares at her and starts walking slowly towards her. He pulls hid dagger out and starts to throw it towards the girl. Seriously, what did this girl do. The only thing I know of is she cut Hadley's wrist, which is healed now. "Jacob, don't!!" Hadley yells.

"Why not she hurt you?" Jacob growls, "She almost killed you."

"Because she didn't know," Hadley growls back at him. Her eyes were full of rage. "If she didn't know then she didn't mean to. Plus I'm alive now."

"Hads, calm down," Owen whispers, "he doesn't want to hurt anyone. Right, Jacob, you don't want to hurt anyone?"

Owen's eyes look over at Jacob pleading for him to say yes. Jacob looks from Owen to Hadley to the girl. "No, I'm going to hurt, Jenna, because she hurt you," Jacob scoffs.

When he finishes saying that Hadley pulls the blade of stars off her neck and runs towards Jacob. "Haddy, no!!" I yells, "Hurting him will only hurt yourself."

Hadley continues to charge at Jacob. "I was lying," Jacob yells as Hadley is two steps away from him, "I'm not going to hurt anyone. I swear." He drops the dagger and pushes it away from him. "I'm not going to hurt her."

"Okay," Hadley whispers. All the rage from her eyes disappears and she smiles as if nothing just happened. "Thank you. Now everything is fine."

Hadley's eyes are full of exhaustion. "Hads, you okay?" Jacob asks looking really nervous.

"Yeah, I'm fine," she yawns as she leans onto Jacob, "Just a little bit tired."

Hadley falls asleep on Jacob's chest. "Great, the dagger can control her now," Owen confirms, "the dagger can control her actions whenever she starts to get angry."

"What do you mean the dagger can control her?" Lizzy asks.

"It means that whenever she gets mad at someone or something the dagger can take control of her," Jacob explains laying Hadley down on the ground, "With that happening she'll go straight to kill mode and won't stop until she gets what she wants. Such as someone saying they won't do something."

Jenna's POV

I cut some girls wrist and her big brother goes all "I'm gonna hurt you mode." The girl went straight to kill mode when her brother was going to hurt me. This family is weird. Not to mention that she has three brothers and one sister. That isn't even possible. Most people only have one sibling none have more than one. But no this girl has four older siblings. Most of the time I wouldn't be scared from people, but with her having four older siblings. Four against one wouldn't have a very good outcome. "Explain to us who you are?" the cute one says.

"Well my names Jenna. I'm 17 years of age. My birthday is Zehnmer 23. I've been on my own for as long as I could remember. I don't have any siblings. My mother and father both died the day I was born," I explain, "Is there anything else you would like to know?"

"Why did you decided to cut Hadley's wrist?" Jacob asks.

"To see what you'd do," I inserts, "What I did see is that you care more about your sister than anyone else." I hear a flammer growl from behind me and look to see one staring at me with it's pitch black eyes full of rage. I slowly start backing away. "H-h-help."

"Flana, no!!" a kid with brown hair and green eyes.

The flammer backs off and goes to lay down next to Hadley. The flammer changes back into it's dog form and lays beside her. Crawling down under her arm to get comfortable. "What just happened and why is laying down next to Hadley?" I question. "Also who are all of you?"

"Well I'm Florence," the kid with brown hair and green eyes, "a friend of Hadley's."

"I'm Lizzy," a girl that looks like Hadley says, "I'm Hadley's twin sister."

"Owen," the cute one says, "Hadley's older brother. I've been with her since day one."

"Luke, nice meeting you," a kid with brown hair greets, "also Hadley's older brother."

"Jacob," Jacob mumbles, "the older brother to Owen, Luke, Lizzy, and Hadley."

"CaDence," a girl with dark brown hair says, "a friend of them all."

"Forest," a kid with blonde hair and blue eyes grumbles while glaring at Owen, "a friend that is truly hated."

"Jacin," another kid mumbles.

"Well that's everyone and you already know who Hadley and Flana are," Jacob mumbles, "Now you should probably leave before I decided to kill you."

That makes no sense. He already told Hadley that he wasn't going to hurt me. If he does I don't think his sister will be very happy. Plus I'm suppose to help with something. I've been searching for these kids for months. Pretty much ever since they started this mission. I finally have found them but one of them wants me gone now. Even though I came to help them and warn them about Kamryn.

A rustling sounds from the bushes behind me. Something is coming, I think to myself, and whatever it is doesn't sound very nice. I hear a branch break and know it's something dangerous. "Guys, something's coming and it doesn't sound like it wants to play nice." I warn.

"Yeah right," Jacob laughs, "It's probably someone that's helping you."

"NO IT'S NOT!!" I scream. "WHY WOULD I DECIDED TO BRING THEM OUT NOW!!!"

I'm letting my anger boil over now and I don't know if I'll be able to control it. "Don't do anything stupid now," Jacob answers, "if you do then I will kill you."

"Hey both of you knock that off," Owen demands, "We're all in trouble and you both are arguing."

I hear a branch break and turn around and see someone walk out of the bushes. I look up and see a boy holding a bow and a quiver of arrows. Then I recognize the face, Calvin. "Hello big sis."
