Owen's POV

I look over at Jenna. I stares straight at Jenna's bright red hair and beautifully tanned skin. I think I finally found out what love is. I don't know how. I've only known her for a few days. Hadley says that we need to stay here until a new moon. Supposable that's when we'll be able to enter into the planet to go to the center. Hadley will soon either be giving up her life or going onto another quest to find the kingdom. She has to get everything set back up. She has to reconnect the world and show all the kids that they can work together. "I think you've been staring at my best friend for to long," Jacob whispers in my ear pulling me out of my trance, "Either stop staring at her or go talk to her."

"You know you aren't a very good big brother," I grumble, "you don't give good advice and sure don't help out a lot."

"Well that's because you gotta learn things on your own," Jacob laughs shoving me towards Jenna.

"Wait, I thought you hated Jenna?" I question.

"I did, but she explained to me what Maylee did," he replies with a wide smile, "I'm still somewhat mad at her but I starting to get over it."

I start thinking about it. If I tell Jenna how I feel maybe it would make me feel better. I've seen how much happier Hadley seems after telling Florence how she feels. Him and her start messing around and laughing more. They both truly are happier. Hadley started to look more happier and moves around more. I can tell her, I think, I'll be able to tell Jenna how I feel. It will probably make me feel better. I start walking towards were Jenna is and build up all my courage I have. "Hey, Jenna, can I tell you something?" I ask scratching the back of my head.

"Yeah, sure," she replies with a wide smile, "I actually have something to tell you also."

"Well, I umm like you," I whisper super softly, "I like you more than a friend."

"That's what I was going to tell you," she replies as her cheeks flush pink.

I stare straight into to her emerald eyes. I see many emotions flying through them. Fear, excitement, love, sadness, happiness, and many more.

Florence's POV

"You seem to be Ms. Match Maker nowadays," I whisper in Hadley's ear as she sits next to me. Her face turns a light pink. "I don't really get to talk to you anymore."

"Florence, I might be dying," she blurts out.

"What do you mean?" I question confused. She can't be dying. She's the Chosen she can't die unless the dagger kills her. Just like it almost killed her days almost a week ago. She can't die now. not after everything we've been through. "What do you mean your dying?"

She sighs and then starts talking. "Florence, the planet may need me to sacrifice myself in order for it to survive. I think it's because I don't make it to the center quick enough to return the Jewel. I might die for all of you to survive."

"Hadley, I was suppose to die but I never did," I whisper. "I'm here right now after death. I died. I came back from the dead. You've lost your head and came back from the dead. I don't think you're going to die."

"You don't understand what I saw," she says as tears fill her eyes. "I watched myself died. I felt myself die. I know how I die and it's to the planet."

"Haddy, calm down," I whisper as tears fall down her face, "Everything is going to be alright. You're going to survive. I believe you will."

"I won't, Florence, I'm not going to live," she screams, "I'm going to die."

She walks away and the truth finally settles into my gut. She's going to die, for good. She's dying and not coming back. She's dying. I grab the closest thing to me and chucked it. I hear it shatter and then I realize it's not normal. That wasn't a rock or anything else that I've ever heard break. I walk over and look down. I see a drawing, but it wasn't a drawing. I see a crystal substance surrounding it. I reach down and pick up the drawing. Paper and ink. All in color. I see what looks like an older version of Hadley and me. This can't be right.
