It was a warm and rather calm summer night. The sky was tinted in a dark blue, illuminated by tiny specks of stars and the pale moon. The fairy lights at the roof garden created a warm and soothing atmosphere, along with the pillows and blankets placed on the little mattress Minnie was sitting on. She closed her eyes, listening to the dull sound of the loud bass downstairs in the dorm, echoing in her head.
I hate this.
The party seemed to be at its fullest, people where screaming, laughing, dancing and singing - basically just having a great time. Minnie didn't even really new why she was there. Why her feet dragged her to this place.
She never really wanted to come because she new that it would end like this. Being alone, feeling week and lonely. Because it was always like that. Even with many people around she would feel lonely, like she didn't belong there.
People were constantly leaving her anyway. She loved her friends but they won't understand. They all were so happy and content, lovely and sweet. She couldn't tell any of them. Seeing them worry or sad because of her own problems; it would just hurt and destroy her heart even more.
Though she decided to come here tonight. A frantic and hopeless attempt to be normal, to act like a normal 18 year old art student on a summer weekend.
She glanced at her phone screen lighting up.2 unread messages from Jisung

Jin: Don't drink to much!! Or whatever you are consuming - please take care!!
She sighed and turned her phone and slowly looked down to her left hand, which was carefully holding a joint. A sigh escaped her lips her as she nudged out a lighter from the back of her jeans and the sparkling fire ignited the stick in her hand. She inhaled the familiar smoke and welcomed the warm and delightful feeling inside of her. The smoke vanished into the night sky as her face and her limbs slowly started to prickle. Numbing her thoughts and feelings was the only way to stay sane. At least for now.
Minnie looked up at the night sky, a warm tear slipping down her face.
I don't want this anymore.
I don't want to feel this anymore.
I'm such a fool.
