The sky was shaded in the flaring gradation of a bright orange and pink as the sun set and Minnie slandered across the bridge, one hand brushing the railing beside her. The river flowing beneath her, the chirping of the birds and the swaying sound of leaves calmed her down, making her smile lightly.

She wore a black dress, revealing her thin legs that shivered due to the cold breeze the early night brought.
She was just on her walk back home from her work at the bookstore as she felt a buzzing sensation in her pocket.

Joonie:
Heyhey
I just finished studying at the liberary
- where are you? Gonna pick you up xx

Mins:
Im at the Bridge, watching the Sunset - you should hurry, it's beautiful!!

Joonie:
Be right there princess

And with that, Minnie put her phone back into her pocket, a now bright smile flustered her face as she continued enjoying the sunset.

As the serene scenery engulfed her senses she started to think about the beautiful boy that made her heart flutter everyday. The boy who makes her smile, feel comfortable and wanted. The frequent nightmares started to vanish the more they spend their time together. Minnie was safe with him around. She was happy.

He is the most precious thing that ever happened to me

They created a safe space for each other. A castle with walls strong enough to hold wars. And everything seemed so beautifully natural, nothing was forced or artificial. No, this was real. He made her feel better everyday. Though she had moments where everything crashed down, he was there. It were just the small things. The cute and comforting text messages she got, sleeping in his warm embrace, the skinship they shared whenever they were together, the little freeing walks back home they did after work or college, the time they spent with their friends or the random music sessions they held in his living room.

He was like a drug that healed her from all the darkness. A light, slowly but surely helping her out of the dark cave.

A pinch at her shoulder made her flinch as she was pulled out of her thoughts and turned around. A bright box smile was smiling at her as her heart immediately melted at this sight.

„Hi Mins", he happily said.

She smiled as he used this cute nickname.

„Hi Joonie, you startled me", she chuckled.

„Good", he said, lowering his voice, a smirk on his face as he started laughing, never able to contain his fake badboy attitude, making Minnie laugh along.
