She woke up the next morning, warm sunshine tickling her face as she silently groaned and cautiously flung her eyes open. She looked around noticing she wasn't in her own room.

Oh my god where am I?

Slight panic aroused inside of her, leaving a knot in her chest.
She sat in a large bed and was covered in a bunch of fluffy white blankets. On the opposite wall there was desk covered with books, pencils and sketches. In the corner of the small room there was a closet with a beautiful green plant on top of it. Posters and little pictures were hung up all over the brownish brick walls. On the floor was a bright carpet, where a white ball of fur, was curled together.

A cat. A white cat. Is it.. possible..?

"Mee?", she whispered. The white cat pointed her ears as she slowly got up and happily jumped on the bed, curling up on Minnie's lap. A smile grew on her face as she realized where she was.

I'm at Seojun's. He must have brought me to his place last night.

Minnie slowly got up, leaving the white snoring cat on the bed. She silently tip toed around in Seojun's room, not wanting to make unnecessary noises. Her fingers softly brushed against the whipped books and unfinished sketches on his desk. Not wanting to be too prying she decided to slowly open the door of his room, stepping outside into a dark hall. She sneaked up to the livingroom to be greeted with a delicate smell of coffee and in the air.

Her eyes didn't have to search for too long only to find a really tired looking Seojun sitting on the couch, wrapped up in his blanket. His eyes were closed, holding a mug filled with steaming coffee in his hands. Single rays of sunlight illuminated the dusty and small room, as well as the halfly sleeping boy who looked angelic in any ways she could imagine.

"Good Morning", Minnie muttered, playing with the hems of her long sleeves.
The boys eyes flung open to be greeted with the sleepy and fragile figure, nervously tucking at her sweater and standing slightly next to the chouch he was sitting on.
"Morning", his rough and deep morning voice hummed. He slightly moved his body to his left. Creating space beside of him, implying Minnie to sit down beside of him.
She reluctantly planted her body next to his, sitting crossed legged, hands in her lap.
"You kinda passed out yesterday and wouldn't wake up and you told me you have nowhere else to go so I brought you to my place. Hope you don't feel uncomfortable or something ", he muttered, his eyelids seemed heavy, on the verge of falling shut again.

He really seems to be wasted. I hope it's not my fault. Oh of course it is my fault you moron, he had to carry me here and slept on the uncomfortable couch. I'm nothing more then a burden oh wow.

"Oh-h no no no i'm completely fine. I - i hope I wasn't too much of a burden. Thank you for taking care of me", Minnie silently hummed, bowing her head. She felt guilty. She never ever wanted to be an extra burden in someone's life and right now she felt like she just wanted to vanish, even though she felt oddly comfortable in this tiny but cozy apartment.

Seojun ruffled her hair, the corners of his mouth slightly curling upwards as he opened his eyes, sight locking with her green eyes, filled with guilt. "You aren't a burden to me, you idiot", he said and the guilt in her eyes slightly eased as she sighed, realizing how long she was holding her breath.

"You want some coffee?"

A smile crept on her face as she nodded.

Minnie slowly realized how much impact he had on her. Just one word, one simple action and everything seemed to be alright. He made her feel safe. He made her feel normal. And she made him feel valuable and happy.
Though both struggled to clinge onto those new feelings. Struggled to allow them engulfing all those thoughts filled with warmth and happiness because the destructive ones were to familiar - their hearts already devoured and soaked with darkness for too long to find strength. To have hope.

Both of them have their pasts, both of them share their present. Both were desperately searching for hope and redemption in their future.

And both were unaware that they already found a new home within each other, which soon would turn out to be a castle.
