𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧;; 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐲
Weeks have passed and Minnie never felt happier. The bad and destructive thoughts started to fade, slowly but certainly. Whenever she felt anxiety or darkness leaping over her, Seojun would caress her to sleep, hum a song, read a book or embrace her until the demons would vanish.
He cared for her as if she was out of glass, delicate and gentle he soothed her pain and he found himself loving to take care of her. She felt better and better every day with Seojun around. They shared heartwarming and happy moments together, as well the ones filled with venom and darkness.
Minnie woke up this morning feeling a little bit woozy as a light coat of sweat covered her forehead. Her stomach ached as she knew that pain would engulf her whole body the second she started to move. Period cramps. She painfully but silently moaned as she heaved herself out of bed, untangling from Seojun, careful to not wake the peacefully sleeping figure next to her. Heading to the bathroom she immediately found the small canister filled with painkillers, took out 2 of them and gulped them down dryly. She quickly took a hot shower and put on some comfortable clothes, a leggings and one of Seojun's huge sweaters and made her way into the kitchen to make some hot and long desired coffee.
"Good Morning", a deep and sleepy voice almost startled her as she turned around and saw the still half asleep Seojun sitting on the couch.
"Morning Joonie, i didn't even noticed you were awake already- did I wake you up?", Minnie hummed, seating herself next to the sleepy boy. "You were suddenly gone", he whined, unconsciously pouting. "Mhh, just took a hot shower, had some period cramps earlier."
Seojun eyes widened. "Ohh... are you ok? Do you need anything? I - I can get you anything, I hope you don't feel that bad - does is hurt really bad?"
The slight panic in his eyes made Minnie chuckle as she said "Joon I'm alright, I'm not dying", caressing some of his tousled silver locks out of his face and cupping his cheeks to place a soft peck onto his nose. "Thanks for caring", she said fondly as she snuggled into his shoulder.
"What about going out today? It seems to be really pretty outside, maybe we can go to the park and Picknick or something?", Seojun shyly asked. "Ohh like a date?", Minnie chuckled, playing with the hems of Seojun's shirt as her eyes sparkled up. "Mhh of you want to call it like that, sure." "Squid", she huffed, cutely crunching her nose.

The grass tickled at her ankles as she sat in the beautiful meadow, thighs pressed up to her chest and cheeks flattened against her knees. Minnie watched the little creatures crawling up and down little straw of grass as the sun tickled and warmed her cheeks. Seojun lied beside her, happily humming a soft melody and didn't budge, only scrunched up his face and narrowed his eyes at the butterfly flitting over his head. He gently outstretched his left hand towards the blue creature until the butterfly settled on the top of his finger.
"Hi there, little one", he hummed, observing the beauty as he brought his finger closer to his face.
"Minnie, look at this", he softly said, not wanting to scare the blue beauty away. "ohh it's so beautiful! how lovely", she cooed, lying down beside Seojun, gently snuggling into his chest. The butterfly flapped its blue wings one last time as he quickly flew away, vanishing into the forest surrounding them.
Minnie watched the little creature vanish and closed her eyes as she enjoyed the warmth, both of the sun and Seojun.
Isn't it weird how everything turned out? I feel so light. There is a warmth within me that occupies my whole body. I feel happy. I feel free. God damn it I feel free!
She silently smiled.
I never thought I would be allowed to feel such things. I thought my expectations were too high, that the tiny box I was captured in would break me. But it didn't. Because he came and saved me. He made me realize who I am. He made me realize that I am someone who hat the right to feel happy and content and who doesn't have to endure all the pain and shit I endured for so long. The monotone world I lived in now is filled with the most beautiful gradations of vibrant colors.
She fidgeted with his shirt, fingers barely brushing over his chest as she slowly lifted her head, looking him into his doe eyes. She loved the way his eyes twinkled, the way he stared back at her once she shifted her gaze to him. His cute features and soft giggles and his power to made her feel happy and safe. His eyes were made of stardust, more beautiful than any galaxy she could think of.
Seojun wrapped his arms around her waist and hold her tight, bringing her closer without saying a single word. He slowly pecked her lips and they both started giggling, smiling childlike.
"Have I ever told you how precious and adorable you are?", he asked, happily pouting as Minnie laughed and pecked his lips again.
"Almost everyday", she giggled, wrapping her arms tighter around his chest.
"Oh i think i have bad news then. I won't stop telling you.", he happily chirped.
