Shiro X Reader: Stuck in Space

(This oneshot is for whitefang196 ! Enjoy!)

  Shiro groaned in pain as he clutched his wound that was dripping blood, he gulped as he spoke through the comms

"(Y-(Y/n)? Lance? Keith?!"

He looked around as Black floated through space. He had been with the team during a Glara attack and he had been hit and the blast had teleported Black somewhere in space and when that had happened a nail had impaled him in his abdomen, then Black had been powered off, so he was just floating aimlessly into space with a gaping wound. He tried the comms again, but the only thing that was heard was static.
Back at the Castle of Lions, Allura was looking for the Black Lion's signal as (Y/n) was pacing back and forth across the floor, hoping her boyfriend was alright. Keith was sitting in his chair, using the drones to look for Shiro's Lion.

".....Allura have you-"

"No (Y/n)! I haven't! Please stop asking!"

She flinched away a bit and sighed, before going to her Lion and getting inside it, she put on her helmet and started talking through the comms.

"Black Paladin, This is the Paladin of the White Lion, do you copy?...."

The only thing that was heard was static. She gulped and said the same thing again, but her voice was more commanding and strict. She heard something on the other end of the line, it sounded like someone was scrambling to grab something. Her heart lifted in hope then a voice sounded through the comms

"This is the Paladin of the Black Lion! I copy!"

Shiro was trying to work the nail out of his wound, he was biting his lip as he did so, then he heard the comms start to come online and a voice he had been longing to hear.

"Black Paladin, This is the Paladin of the White Lion. Do you copy?" Her voice was commanding and stern, but showed worry, he scrambled to grab his helmet and jammed it onto his head and said

"This is the Paladin of the Black Lion! I copy!"

She felt tears prick the corners of her eyes and she said

"Shiro!!! Where are you!? We've been looking for you nonstop!!!"
"I don't know were I am...Black is powered down and I'm wo-..."
"Your what?"
"I'm fine, I just have a bad scratch.."

He glanced at the gaping wound on his side.

"Shiro, can you try and turn Black on? At least so we can get your signal so we can worm hole you back over here."
"I'll try..."
She nodded and jumped out White, yanking off her helmet in the process. She burst into the control room, yelling

"Guys!! I've got Shiro on the comms!!"

Everyone snapped their heads over to her and ran over

"He's trying to power Black up! Allura! Make sure you keep looking for his signal in cause he succeeds!"

She nodded and started looking for his signal again. About five minutes later, a black dot showed on the map

"He did it!!"

Everyone shouted relived, (Y/n) had a few tears of relief flowing down her face as she smiled
   Shiro was moving the handles, trying to wake Black up, he bit his lip as his wound pounded in pain, he muttered

"Black....please..."

The next thing he knew, Black's eyes flowed with life and roared loudly, He gasped in relief, as black started hugging the corners of his vision

"Shit...I lost to much blood.." as he fell unconscious, he saw the blue wormhole appear in front of him, then the Castle of Lions appeared. Then he blacked out.

     (Y/n) was sitting in her chair as the Castle wormholed its way to Shiro, as they went through the wormhole, she saw Black and smiled in relief. She spoke into comms

"Shiro! We're here!!"
"......"
"Shiro!?"

There was no answer from the comms as her look of relief turned to one of concern

"SHIRO!!"

She gulped and went to her speeder and launched off into space, flying over to Black and it opened its jaws, letting her in. She got off her speeder and ran to the control room

"SHIRO!?"

She gasped as she saw him unconscious, a large  wound in his side. She yelled through the comms.

"GUYS!! SHIRO'S BADLY INJURED!! WE NEED TO GET HIM TO A HEALING POD, STAT!!"

Everyone started working overdrive as Keith, Lance, and Hunk, carried Shiro to a healing pod as Allura started up the healing process, and (Y/n) flew Black back to his hanger. A few minutes later, she burst into the healing room, and saw Shiro and everyone else surrounding his pod, she ran over, tears flowing. Everyone else left, to give her room as she sat next to his pod, not wanting to leave his side.

(Y/n) was standing in front of Shiro's pod, her eyes puffy from crying, the hiss of the healing pod was heard as Shiro gave a groan and fell out of it. She caught him and engulfed him in a hug.

"Oh my God, Shiro, never scare me like that again!"

He wrapped his arms around her

"I won't...I love you to much to do so.."
