How can someone live somewhere, but they don't know where that somewhere is?

It's pretty lonely where I am. Although it is peaceful. At least there's a bunch of flowers! That's all I have to play with though...But, even if there's no one here to play with me, I can't bring myself to leave. It's almost like I'm connected to this place.

"Why are we here again, Portugal?" Spain nervously looked around at the vast lush land surrounding them.

"Can't you see, Spain? Or are you just that blind?" Portugal teased as they walked towards a wide field of flowers.

"I don't get it. Is this suppose to be you showing off your land or--"

"No, that's the thing! This isn't my land. Before I thought it could be Morocco's, but then I realized there wasn't much civilization out here at all!" Portugal exclaimed laughing arrogantly.

"So, you're going to claim it?" Spain questioned hoping he could be the one to own this new land that no other European countries had discovered yet.

"Well,  yes I--!" before Portugal could continue a voice rang out from the flowers.

"Hello? Is someone there?"

"AHH! The flowers are talking!" Spain started frantically pointing at each flower in sight.

"No silly! I'm not a flower!" Just then a small girl's head popped out of the field.

"AHHHH! It's a random head!" Spain now pointed at the head.

The girl just giggled and jumped out of the flower patch she was in with a small crown of flowers adorning her head, "Hi! I'm Lissia, what're your names?"

"Aw, well isn't she frightening," Portugal nudged Spain in the side.

"H-Hey I didn't know it was a niña (girl)! A-Anyways, what are you doing here by yourself?" Spain knelt down to the little girl's level.

"I live here! And you didn't answer my question," She pouted.

"So much for this place being empty," Portugal sighed joining Spain at her level, "My name is João Henrique Lisboa-Carriedo,"

"And I'm Antonio Fernández Carriedo," Spain smiled at the baffled girl.

"Those are long names! My name's Lena, I don't have a last name,"

"But I thought you said you're name was Lissia?" Portugal asked.

"No, that's who I am!" She cheered getting distracted by a butterfly that flew by.

As she started to chase the butterfly Portugal suddenly pulled Spain aside, "Spain, do you know what this means!"

"That she has two names?" Spain tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"No idiota, she's a country!" Portugal hit his shoulder as if it was obvious.

This caused him to gasp, "What should we do?"

"I don't know, you're better with kids than I am,"

"Are you suggesting that I watch over la niña (the girl)?!" Spain's eyes widen, "B-But I'm already taking care of Romano--"

"Well, we can't leave her here by herself! Unless we inform Morocco--"

"No, I think it's best we keep la niña a secret," Spain glanced at the joyful child who had now occupied herself with making flower crowns with the butterfly flying around her.
