Chapter 24 - Math

Few days have passed, Everyone is living like usual, Sana is fine with Jeongyeon since they don't wanna rush things, She afraid she might scare her. And she still thinks Jeongyeon is scared of the 'Soulmates' thingy.

The truth is her fear has vanished.

One night Tzuyu came to 230 and she is drunk. She is underage! It would be dangerous if someone saw her drunk like this, But her tall figure made her look mature and doesn't look like underage. She just huddled on the ground.

"Tzuyu-yah" Sana trying to get her up.

"Why are you so different lately!? Not only that you have been so annoying," Tzuyu angrily slurs at her and shoves Sana's hand off.

They had a fight??

It's getting late to be so noisy out here, Seeing no other option, Jeongyeon gets Tzuyu on her back even though she is scared of Tzuyu. Jeongyeon carries her inside as she yelling, "You are all i have!"

Jeongyeon tucked Tzuyu in her bed, "Do you want me to sleep at Mina's room?" she asked Sana.

"It's okay Jeongyeon, you can sleep on my bed" Sana replied with her eyes on Tzuyu.

"No no, I can sleep downstairs, You take care of her," Jeongyeon gave a warm smile and went downstairs.

Jeongyeon wears her hoodie and other hoodies as her blanket. At the upstairs, Sana looks over Tzuyu as she starts crying in her sleep, "You keep changing! Don't change! I like you so much..."

It snapped Jeongyeon about the question she couldn't ask, She afraid things might get worse if she holds it any longer.

I should ask her tomorrow.

Tzuyu wakes up and confused for sleeping on Jeongyeon's bed. Couldn't recall what happened last night, And look around to see Sana is still sleeping and Jeongyeon is sleeping with a bunch of hoodies. She felt guilty and touched by her action.

If a good person like you are her soulmates, Maybe i will let her go.

TZUYU!?!?!?
Jeongyeon woke up and startled when she saw someone is sitting on the high stool.

"I thought you are a ghost" Jeongyeon whispered.

"ㅋㅋㅋ" Tzuyu let out a small laugh. But then she recalled what happened last night, Her eyes widened.

"Thank you for carrying me last night" Tzuyu timidly said and look at her own phone, embarrassed.

"Ahahah, don't mention it" Jeongyeon scratches her head.

Are we good yet? Does she still hate me?

Time goes, awkward and tense.

Tzuyu went up and flicked Sana's forehead and went downstairs again.

"Yahh! Who flicked my forehead?" Sana voice was heard from upstairs.

Sana went downstairs and saw her best friend, "Tzuyu, are you okay?"

"I'm fine, thankyou" Tzuyu still looking at her phone.

*Door open

Mina brings food and drinks since today is her turn. She feels the tension between these girls, kinda weird. They are relatively quiet like something happened recently.

"Mina, what juice is this?" Jeongyeon asked.

"Just some apples, grapes and oranges"

"Ooh, I see..." Then Jeongyeon whispered to her, "Next time can you order something else? I don't drink sour"

Mina smiled for that.

But it made Sana imagine things, Like Jeongyeon is giving a sweet talk and made Mina smiled, Like they are together.

The question that Sana once asked Tzuyu about Soulmates is actually Jeongyeon and Mina who are closer to, more open to, and comfortable to. That made her jealous.

"Mina, I have a piece of good news and bad news, Which one do you want to hear first?

"Obviously the good one"

"The good news is I will ask Sana tonight, regarding Tzuyu feeling"

"Finally after few days :') " Mina relieved but start to feel nervous, "How about the bad one?"

"Class we will have a small test to prepare for the exam, Try to finish in 1 hour" The teacher started to hand out question papers to everyone.

"Wuooh, this is one of the bad news, the other one I will tell you later"

Sana is scratching her head, Couldn't get the x and y, The answer she got is not in the multiple choice. Frustrated, she just randomly answer the nearest number. Not only the multiple choice question, But the essay made her stuck, She doesn't know which formula should she apply to.

Time is up

The teacher shows the test answer on the whiteboard. And all of the students check their answer and calculate their own score.

"How many scores did you get?" Tzuyu asked.

Sana is covering her face with the test paper, and sighed "I only get 28 out of 100"

"Don't worry the exam is still a few months away, You can catch up" Tzuyu try to cheer her up. But Sana didn't respond her at all, still covering her face.

The teacher claps his hand once, "Okay class, How many of you got the perfect score? Raise your hand"

Holy Moly... How could she...
Sana was surprised to see someone could scores perfectly in Business Math test.

Not only Sana but everyone is in shock because there is only one student who raised the hand, The master of Mathematics, it's no other than Yoo Jeongyeon.

"Heol, you said this is bad news but you scored 100..." Mina felt betrayed.

"Hehe, I don't mean that way" Jeongyeon smiled like a victory, satisfied.

"Tss, You should tutor me someday,"

Jeongyeon make an 'ok' sign with her hand, "No problem"

-on the way back to dorm-

"Hey Jeong, You haven't told me the other bad news yet"

"Umm,"

"Spill it or I ask Tzuyu" Mina threaten but not harsh, more like teasing her to spill it.

"So..., Tzuyu came last night in a drunk state, yelled and crying in her sleep"

"..." Mina doesn't know what to say.

"There must be something happened between those two, Tzuyu keep saying Sana is changing, ask her to stop changing, and Tzuyu also said 'I like you very much' and it somehow confuses me. So that's why I decided to ask Sana later"

"Yea, Jeongyeon don't hold it for too long, Truth always finds its way to the surface"

"I heard my name..." A familiar voice was heard behind them.

"S-sana!?" Jeongyeon and Mina startled, "Eh?"

"What are you guys talking about?" Sana confused at Jeongyeon and Mina startled face.

"Sana-ya, Jeongyeon want to ask something, I take my leave first, Annyeong" Mina went off to 231.

"Yah! Mina!" Jeongyeon shouted at Mina who is already walking away at a fast pace.

"Umm, Hi Sana, sorry about that" Jeongyeon already half-panicked.

"Hahah, It's okay, So just now Mina said you want to ask me something, What is it?" Sana innocent face, looking forward to the question from Jeongyeon.
