Chapter 45 - Chips

Jeongyeon takes a few bags of chips from her food cabinet, leaving the 230 and ring the 231 bell, *Ding dong*

*Door opens*

Mina's head sticking out from the door, wearing a hoodie, instant smiled when she saw the tall figure standing in front of the door.

"Yes?" Mina asked.

"Can I come in?" =)

"sure" Mina open the door wider for her.

Jeongyeon come inside and saw a pile of washed clothes on the couch,

"ahh, sorry for the mess," Mina walk fast to the couch and lift the pile of clothes.

"let me help you" Jeongyeon going to take half from Mina, yet rejected,

"It's okay, Jeong"

Mina steam all of her washed clothes, Jeongyeon walks around and go to the kitchen, there is also a pile of unwashed dishes. Jeong rolls up her sleeves and washes all the dishes for Mina. 

mmm, this smell, Ramen? Has she been eating instant food?

Arranging the bowl and utensils neatly in the glass shelf. Then wipe the counter with a cloth rag, then the table, every spot.

Jeong takes a look at the laptop screen and she sits on the high stool.

Isn't this Steve Rogers!?

Mina walk back and she noticed the table is so clean, "sorry again for the mess"

"Mina, you watch Marvel??" Jeong asked.

"yeah, you?"

"YES I DO! I WATCHED THEM ALL" :D

Mina startled by the sudden volume, "hahahah, calm down Jeong, calm down,"

"No wonder, your room is kinda dim, huh?" Jeongyeon look up at the few lights that were not turned on.

"it's like this all the time" Mina poker face.

"and your room is kinda cold too, i can feel I'm going to freeze" Jeong place her palm on Mina's arm.

"why is your hand so cold? I set my room AC at 24°C if I'm not wrong your room is a few degrees colder than mine"

"really?"

Weird... strange things keep happening today,

"yeah, anyway, what brings you here and...where is Sana?" mina asked.

"umm, Sana went out after the class and didn't reply to my messages since an hour ago, maybe she was catching a movie with her friend?"

Mina turns her head to Jeong, "Did something happen between you two?"

"I don't think so, but look at this" Jeong takes out her phone to show the SNS post she saw an hour ago.

"..." Mina kinda couldn't believe the post was about them.

"what do you think?" Jeongyeon asked.

"umm.. I think you two should have a talk and I don't think she has any close friends to hang out with, since Tzuyu transferred to another school which means she is not with anyone right now, so she definitely not watching a movie with her friend... and again, don't you think the cold feeling comes from Sana?"

"ohmygod, why didn't I realize that?" Jeongyeon facepalming herself.

"Go, call her" Mina gives back Jeongyeon's phone.

Jeongyeon relieved sighs, "thanks a lot Mina, I'm so grateful to have a friend like you, here take the chips and enjoy the movie, bye"

"bye~" Mina waved at Jeong.

"don't sleep too late, tomorrow i will bring you somewhere and eat nice food, bye again" Jeong leave 231.

Mina still waving, "bye again~"

Jeong left, Mina sits back and continue the movie, smiled at the chips before opening it.

Are we going out tomorrow?? Tss, why did you make me fall harder? even though I know it's like a trap for me to keep going on liking you, let me enjoy this punishment a while longer.

*call Sana*

-doesn't pick up-

Is she really mad? or i was just overthinking?

Jeongyeon goes back to 230 just to take a jacket then leave the room straight away.

*call again*

-picks up-

"Mwo?" (slurping sound) Sana is drinking.

"Yah! why you didn't reply message?" Jeongyeon sounds worried.

"I was eating just now, I'm not 24/7 on my phone, okay?"

"okay, now, where are you? are you cold? it must be you, i can feel it here, at first I thought the room was too cold, then Mina said the room AC is just 24°C"

Mina????
"first of all, i was having my alone time walking around here, if I'm feeling cold and you feel it, so what!? blaming me??"

"I'm not blaming y-

Tuuu Tuuu Tuu (Sana end the call)

"hello?" 

"Hello? yah, Minatozaki"

ok, now she is mad...

Jeongyeon starts to dash and exit from the dorm entrance, search at every cafe nearby to check if she was there, coz just now Sana sounds like she was drinking something.

Couldn't find any trace of Sana everywhere she goes, she even go into few convenience stores in that area, but yet Sana is nowhere to be found.

Jeongyeon walks back to the area around the dorm, paused for a while, tired of running here and there, It's cold at night since the summer has ended, thanks to it Jeongyeon didn't sweat at all.

Where on earth could she be? ... it's getting late... isn't the malls is closing at this time? Should i just wait at the dorm entrance?

She will definitely come back, right?
