Chapter 22 - 'Death Stare'

Jeongyeon wakes up earlier than the other day. It's her turn, To buy the breakfast for everyone.

*Alarm sound

"!!??" Jeongyeon startled to hear NOT her alarm in the morning, she turns her head back.

"Ohayou~" Sana stretching her hand out.

Sana actually wants to follow Jeongyeon to buy breakfast together, She did set that alarm. Which shocked Jeongyeon while she slowly took her steps in the room.

Sana never set an alarm, usually either me or Tzuyu who wake her up.

"Did you set the wrong alarm? It's still early Sana, you can go back to sleep"

"No no, I want to follow you buy some breakfast" Sana get up, and walk towards the stairs.

"?" Jeongyeon puzzled as she watches Sana walking to her direction.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" Sana tap Jeongyeon's back.

"Uhh, o-okay" Jeongyeon stuttered.

-on the way somewhere-

Sana yawned, "Where are we going, Jeong?"

"To the nearest morning cafe that serves juices, You shouldn't have followed me, Look at you" Jeongyeon pinched Sana cheeks lightly.

"Don't pinch me, I'm conscious and I'm Awake" Sana glared at her.

"Stop that glare ㅋㅋㅋ, we are here" Jeongyeon opened the door.

[ at the cafe ]

Sana eyes widened while browsing the menu, Jeongyeon did choose the cafe that serves a lot of choices of juice.

"Is there anything you want?" Jeongyeon asked.

Sana saw her favourite fruit on the menu, "Raspberry! I want raspberry please!"

Jeongyeon smiled when she saw Sana's reaction, "Morning, Can I get four raspberry juices and dairy-free Belgian waffles?"

*Ding dong

"Usually Jeongyeon will open the door for us, But it's her turn to buy breakfast today, Hmm, Maybe Sana is still sleeping?" Tzuyu trying to get in 230.

"Are we too early?" Mina asked.

Tzuyu takes her phone out, "Hold on, I try to call Sana"

Sana ringtone was heard from outside.

"Sana-yah, wake up" Tzuyu raised her voice, she said at the door gap.

"Tzuyu-ah, Isn't that Jeongyeon and Sana?" Mina pointing to the corridor.

Tzuyu was somehow surprised to see Sana, as a sleepyhead, or a lazybum to be awake in this hour. Usually, she still sleeping around this time, waiting for someone to wake her up.

"Good morning everyone!" Sana was in good spirits, drinking her raspberry juice.

"Wow, This is my first time to witness Minatozaki Sana wide awake in the early morning" Tzuyu teased.

"Is it wrong to wake up early?" Sana being defensive.

"No, it just weird for a sleepyhead like You" Tzuyu teased.

"Both of you, staph ㅋㅋㅋ" "C'mon let's eat" Jeongyeon chuckled, while Mina laughing silently in the back.

-at 230-

"Mina, you can eat the waffles it's dairy free" Jeongyeon whispered to her ear.

"Thank you" Mina whispered back, smiling.

Everyone is enjoying the waffles and raspberry juice, But not for Jeongyeon, she can't handle sour. Even though she tried her best to not showing that ugly sour face in front of them, But she did.

"What's wrong Jeongyeon?" Mina confused.

"Nothing, Haha"

"Sour isn't it?" Sana smirked.

"Y-yes" Jeongyeon somehow feels bad.

"ㅋㅋㅋ, So why did you order one for yourself?" Sana chuckled.

"I want to know how your favourite drinks taste like"  said Jeongueon which gets Tzuyu attention and made Sana flustered.

"Ooh, Okay" Sana short reply.

"Anyway Sana, you got something there," Tzuyu pointing at the area near the end of Sana's lips.

"Hmm? Where?"

Tzuyu's hand trying to reach Sana to help her wipe off, But Jeongyeon did it in advance, "Here," Jeongyeon wipe off the food on the corner of Sana's lips with her thumb.

"Thank you Jeongyeon :)" Sana smiles and continue her breakfast.

At that moment, Jeongyeon accidentally saw Tzuyu's 'Death Stare' that only lasts for a second. The stare is similar from the day when they met for the first time, when Sana unintentionally spilled the coffee. The stare that strikes Jeongyeon's soul like a warning. Which immediately made Jeongyeon think again.

What did I do?
