Chapter 18 - Tomato (ft. Sana)

They eat and drink to celebrate like what other people do. Jeongyeon brought a pack of monopoly deal. A card game. The one who lose will get punishment, A cup of soju.

Jeongyeon was so good at games, her strategy is overpowered and she keeps winning. She only lost once to Mina. She was so lucky to get blue and green properties together with the rent card. 

On the other side, Who is bad at gaming, Sana. Although she gets some nice cards, But she confused all of the time, Her monopoly money getting taken till dry without any counterattack. She ended up receiving 3 cups of soju from the game. Tzuyu was relieved, even though she lost the game, the punishment is not valid for her, she only drink her soda.

The game ends, Empty soju bottles on the table. Jeongyeon looking at scenery from the railings beside her, some people from afar still playing fireworks. Mina is enjoying the melody from the music. Sana is resting her head on the table. Tzuyu, thinking about how to give Sana the phone case she bought for her.

"Sana you okay?" Mina noticed Sana been in the same position for a while.

"I was just thinking..., thinking about the squid I just had, I tried not to eat it, But it seduced me, There nothing i could do. I don't know, I don't know," Sana still resting her head on the table.

Everyone burst into laugh after hearing Sana drunk word. Jeongyeon push her shoulders up, and supports her weak body.

"Sana, you drunk? Ahahahah" Jeongyeon laughed at Sana red face.

"Just a few cups, Sana become a To Ma To" Mina teased.

"I think she couldn't handle alcohol, It's not her fault" Tzuyu being defensive.

Sana lifts up her head, And turns her head to the left side, "Annyeong~ My Soulmates~" The word that startled everyone, Shuts everyone, And turns everyone eyes to Sana.

"Huh?" Jeongyeon eyes widen, gave her a quizzical look.

"Hehehe," Sana suddenly hugged Jeongyeon, While everyone is watching.

"Sa-sana, You are DRUNK!!" Jeongyeon panicked, trying to push her away.

The girl who sits at the right side from her, Tzuyu was confused by her word too, Tzuyu's face was expressionless. Jeongyeon suddenly remembered Mina who knew her mysterious soulmates. Jeongyeon took a glance at her, and give a mixed signal. Mina gave a nod as a response then looked away, noticed Jeongyeon's Red String encircling her wrist.

Sana is My Soulmates!!??

Jeongyeon was startled, mind blown. She is trying her best to accept everything. That night talk with Mina, Jeongyeon has decided to face it rather than running away. And the moment has come, just like what Mina said,

it will come, when your heart ready to carry it

"Ahahahah, Sana is drunk!" Jeongyeon trying to bring everyone soul back.

"I think we should bring Sana to her room, Before something happened" Tzuyu concerned.

That 'something' has happened to Jeongyeon. But, the most important thing now is who can carry Sana back to her room.

Seems like Jeongyeon is feeling guilty for buying soju, She want to be responsible for her doing. She stands up and try to carry Sana on her back.

"Ya... Put me down, I'm not drunk..." Sana hit Jeongyeon shoulders softly with her eyes closed.

"Ssssh ToMaTo" Jeongyeon hushed while giving Sana a piggyback. Tzuyu and Mina clearing the way for safety.

Oh damn, This Tomato is heavier than Mina

Jeongyeon doesn't really have any problem coz this dorm has a lift.

Ahh... The stairs,
Jeongyeon was struggling, paused every step she took.

"Jeongyeon, Let me carry her instead" Tzuyu offered.

"It's okay Tzuyu, just a few stairs to go"

Jeongyeon tucked Sana in her own bed, she is smiling in her sleep.

Is she smiling? or I'm seeing things?

Jeongyeon was feeling a bit tipsy, not sure is it because of the only 'one cup of soju' or the feeling from Sana.

Jeongyeon went downstairs and stir something, "Tzuyu, Mina, I made some honey water, Help yourself"

"thanks," Both of them sitting on the couch.

Jeongyeon went upstairs, placed the glass on the bed table. Before waking this Tomato.

"Sana..., wake up" Jeongyeon pull and support her body.

"Hmm?" Sana barely open her eyes.

"Drink this juseyo" Jeongyeon took the honey water.

glug...glug...glug

Sana falls asleep again. Jeongyeon just noticed her Red string has reached both end, encircled her wrist. Since when did my Red String grow? Her eyes searching for Sana's red string on her.

No wonder I have no idea about it, She has been hiding in this Wristband.

Scared, nervous, curious, and relieved, All mixed feelings the same time while Jeongyeon pull the wristband slowly from the owner's hand. She saw a familiar string, providing weak red light.

Sana is my... Soulmates

Jeongyeon froze, Lost in thoughts of this brand new thing in her life. It's a fact, everything she thought about since months ago is happening now.

Will my heart able to carry you?

Jeongyeon heaved a sigh, for herself to face everything ahead in this year. She covered Sana with the blanket, and went downstairs. She saw Tzuyu has dozed off.

Jeongyeon tap her back shoulders. "Tzuyu-ah, You can sleep on my bed, I will sleep in Mina's room" 

"Uhh, thank you" The sleepy Tzuyu went upstairs and sleep on Jeongyeon's bed.

Mina live alone in this room, Her parent paid for two person dorm contract. To protect Mina from anything that could happen, For the reason of her supernatural power. 

"J-jeongyeon, are you okay?"

"I'm fine Mina, thank you for asking" "Yeah..., Sana is my soulmates, I saw the Red String on her wrist just now"

"Does it happen because you start to accept the truth? Since when you are this brave? Proud of you Jeongyeon" Mina proudly smiled.

"I think so? Hahah, thank you Mina, you did help me a lot, Anyway I'm a little bit tipsy, and it's damn 4 o'clock now, Let's continue tomorrow okay?" Jeongyeon said as she closes her eyes.

"Tipsy because of her, Huh?" Mina teased.

"Is this the one you meant by shared physical feelings? Ohh... No wonder when I got a slight fever from the rain, She sneezed the whole day. Umm, now it does make sense" Jeongyeon nodded, still closing her eyes.

"Yes, And also this one. Soulmates are connected no matter where you are, Even one of you in the other planet" Mina still excited for her.

"ㅋㅋㅋ, Let's sleep first okay?" Jeongyeon chuckled.
