Chapter 39

Marcus's P.O.V

I couldn't believe that Kai made me take Ellie and Rachel to the Mall. I mean I love them as friends but I didn't want to spend probably the rest of the day at the Mall! Girls take so long when they are shopping it's unreal and I'm going to be so bored! And I'm in work mode, so I can't let my guard down which means that I have to put up a front and the girls don't like when I'm so 'uptight' as they like to call it or they say that I need to 'stop worrying' or 'calm down it's fine nothing will happen' but they don't know that! Kai has a lot of enemies so I need to be ready for anything. If I let my guard and something happens to either of them not one would I never forgive myself Kai and Lucas would murder me.

I sigh as we get out of the car and head into the Mall.

"Come on Marc, it's not that bad" Rachel laughs, I roll my eyes

"Just don't take all day please, I have plans later" I say

"Oh and what are these plans?" Ellie asks whilst we all walk into Primark. Here we go, it's one o'clock and I bet we won't get out of this devil shop until 3.

"A date" I say, and both girls squeal. I cover my ears and shush them, everybody is staring now "well done, yous have just caused a scene" I sigh

"Forget about them, we need to get you something to wear for your date!" Rachel says, running to the elevator. We get in and she presses the 3rd floor button where all the men clothes are

"It's fine I've got something to wear" I say

"Uh huh and when did you buy it?" Rachel asks

"Like last year, why?" I say and both girls gasp and then sigh

"Are you serious! Do you not want to impress this girl?" Rachel shouts at me, we step out of the elevator and both girls start rushing around

"Who said it's a girl?" I joke, they both freeze and turn around to look at me.

"Your gay?" Ellie asks, I tried so hard to keep a straight face but I couldn't help myself and bursted out laughing

"No but you should have seen the look on your faces!" I laugh

"There's nothing wrong with being gay, it's okay you can tell us we will exception either way" Rachel says

"Thanks but I'm not gay, I was only messing" I say

"So what is his name?" Ellie asks completely ignoring the fact that I just said I was joking and that I wasn't gay

"Her name is savannah" I tell them

"Come on Marc I'm serious we don't care if your gay just tell us his name" Ellie says

"I was only joking! I'm not gay and her name is savannah" I say

"Fine don't tell us" Rachel sighs, I give her a pointed look as if to say 'are you serious'

"It was a joke!" I say sternly

"I thought you were in work mode? You can't joke around in work mode Marcus!" Ellie says

Ughhhh these two are exhausting! "I literally only made one joke" I sighed

"Do you think being gay is funny? People are scared to come out and here you are joking around saying that your gay and then saying that you were joking" Rachel says,  and then does an overly exaggerated gasp "are you Homophobic? Do you have a thing on gay people?"

"What?! NO!" I quickly rush out, I didn't want people to think that I was homophobic, I wasn't! I had nothing against gay people! I was only joking

"I can't believe it...." Ellie starts

"I was only joking guys! I'm not homophobic! I don't have anything against gay people!" I assure them. Both girls burst out laughing and I look at them confused

"We...were.. only joking" Ellie says in between laughs. I roll my eyes

"We.. know your.. not gay" Rachel laughs

"Ha Ha vey funny" I sigh

"You should have seen your face" Rachel laughs, I roll my eyes

"Come on let's get you something to wear later, we need to impress savannah" Ellie says once's she finished laughing.

Sorry it's short but yous wanted an update soon so I thought I'd write a short one now and get it out and then maybe later or tomorrow I'll update again!
