you'd forget
that i'm here too
how i hate this time
this period of life
when will it be over
and you'll forget
my pain
through the plastic smile
on my face so plain
and you'd forget how much you mean
with the predictable poetry of an everyday life
and i will fall in the thumping heart's rhythm of a normal life too.you'd forget that
i keep wishing for more
what can i do
i feel trapped
dragged out to sea
under the waves that lapped on the shoremaybe one day I'll forget too.
