A stolen kiss

Buffy was determined to talk to TJ to ask him to pass her ball to during the games. Buffy approached TJ to ask him to talk to him after the practice. When the basketball practice ended Buffy and TJ waited for the rest of the team to leave the gym to talk. 

-What do you want, Driscoll?- TJ asked annoyed

-Really, TJ? Really? You know well what is that I want- Buffy said raising her arms

-And you know well that ain't gonna happen-

-TJ, why don't you pass me the ball? Why don't you let me do something during the games?- Buffy said raising her voice

-Because I'm the captain and I can do that- TJ said in a mocking tone

If you were a good captain then you would pass me the ball, but you are not a horrible captain- Buffy yell angry

-If you do not like my attitude and the fact that I'm the captain, then give up the team- TJ responded shouting

-However much you want, I will not give up the team. I love playing- Buffy continued shouting

-Fine, stay, but do not expect I pass you the ball-

They both kept yelling when they heard the gym door open. Cyrus who was waiting for Buffy outside could hear the shouting of the discussion so he decided to enter to intervene.

-Buffy, what is happening?- Cyrus whisper to Buffy

-He- Buffy pointed to TJ –Our supposed captain still refuses to pass me the ball, it is impossible to reason with him- TJ rolled his eyes by the comment.

-Okay, Buffy calm down- Cyrus pulled Buffy away from TJ -Buffy let me talk to him alone, maybe I can make him see reason- Cyrus said whispering

-No, I'm not going to leave you alone with him, Cyrus. He can hurt you; I'll stay with you- Buffy said crossing her arms

-Buffy, we both know that if you stay the discussion will continue and we'll be wasting time- Cyrus gave Buffy a look saying "you know I'm right"

-Ugh, fine, but if I heard you scream, I'll come back quickly-

Buffy gave TJ an intimidating look before leaving the gym. Cyrus turned to TJ, he felt nervous to see TJ staring at him with crossed arms. He took a breath and started talking

-Hi, I'm Cyrus- TJ shrugged and gave a signal to continue –Okay, I just gonna say it, can you please pass Buffy the ball?- Cyrus placed his hands together in the form of prayer making TJ laugh a little. Cyrus felt more relaxed when he saw TJ smiling.

-Give me a good reason-

-Buffy is a very good player, she strives to give 100% of herself and I am sure that if you let her play, the team will be better; with both participating in the games, it will be easier to win, please, Buffy really wants to be part of the team and if you do not change your mind her anger will be worse, because if you think that a moment ago she was upset, believe me when I tell you that you do not want to see Buffy really upset and...- suddenly Cyrus felt a pair of lips on his for a few seconds.

-Okay, I'll pass her the ball- TJ leaned to Cyrus and whisper to his ear –You talk a lot, Cyrus, you're cute- TJ smiled and wink at Cyrus

TJ left the gym leaving Cyrus totally shocked, outside the gym, TJ told Buffy that he would pass her the ball during the games and Buffy was surprised by the comment. Inside the gym, Cyrus was frozen and surprised that the captain of the basketball team stole him a kiss, he soon left his trance to hear that the door opened again and saw Buffy approaching him.

-Okay, TJ has just told me that he will pass me the ball. You, Cyrus Goodman, are a wizard, how did you manage to convince him? - Buffy said surprised by the facts

-Talking too much- Cyrus smiled for the answer

-Well, that really worked. I appreciate it a lot. Come on I'll buy you a milkshake and baby taters, you deserve it.- Buffy took Cyrus by the arm and they left the gym.
