TJ put the hood of his hoodie and started to walk to the park. It was something he frequently did. When he arrived went directly to the swing-sets, sighing he sat on one of them and started to swing softly. It was after midnight, everything was silence and the only noise heard was the grinding of the chain.
"Is that swing taken?" TJ shuddered to hear that voice. He looked over his shoulder and saw Cyrus smiling at him.
TJ shook his head and Cyrus sat on the swing next to him. He started to swing while TJ was watching him in shock, TJ's facial expression made Cyrus laughed. After a few minutes, TJ finally spoke.
"how- how do... bu- bu- but you.. why you..." TJ stuttered
"I knew that you would be here. So I came to make you company for a while"
TJ smile weakly "I miss you so much"
Cyrus smiled back "I know Teej. That is why I'm here. I need to talk to you"
Ahora que está todo en silencio (Now that everything's silently)
Y que la calma me besa el corazón (And the calm kisses my heart)
os quiero decir adiós (I want to tell you goodbye)
Porque ha llegado la hora (Because the time has come)
de que andéis el camino ya sin mí (Of walking the road without me)
"You and I lived wonderful moments and made a lot of memories together, we were happy and you meant a lot to me. I'm so grateful for everything we live together. But now that we're no more together, you need to be happy again"
"But is hard, it's so hard not have you with me" TJ said with his voice cracked
No llores cielo, y vuélvete a enamorar (Don't cry honey, and fall in love again)
Me gustaría volver a verte sonreír (I would like to see you smile again)
"I know, I'm not saying that it is easy. I don't ask you to be happy overnight, but I want you to be happy. You're an amazing guy TJ, I know that you'll find someone else and when that happens relives love" Cyrus said sadly
"It would never be the same. You were too special Cy, you still are"
"You're special for me too. And because you're special, I don't like to see you sad about me"
Sé que la culpa os acosa (I know that guilt harasses you)
Y os susurra al oído: Pude hacer más (And whispers in your ear: I could've done more)
No hay nada que reprochar (There is nothing to reproach)
"Why did everything have to end like this?" TJ exclaimed kicking a pebble
"hey, you don't have to torment yourself. It wasn't your fault, it was an accident. Things happened like that"
"but..."
"but nothing" Cyrus interrupted him "TJ, I don't want you to carry that weight on you. I want to hear you say that it was not your fault and that you feel free. Please say it" he added.
"I-I-It was a-an... it was an accident" TJ sighed "I-It wa-wasn't my fault"
Cyrus smiled proudly "It wasn't. Do you feel better?"
"A little" TJ said whispered
"It is a progress"
Cyrus asked about the others and TJ started to tell him about the thing that had changed after the accident. He talked about his school life, about how he has good and bad days and how Amber convinced him to start to see a counselor. He told him about the future plans of Andi, Buffy, Jonah, Amber and his other friends.
They also started to remember the moments that they live together. While they were swinging, Cyrus was happy to see TJ smiling again.

Me gustaría volver a verte sonreír (I would like to see you smile again)
After spending several minutes talking and swinging together as they used to, Cyrus got up from the swing and smiled at TJ.
"I would want to stay a little more but I have to go. And so do you, it's too late"
"Yeah, I need to come back. Thanks for coming" TJ said getting up from the swing "I'm not going to lie it was strange, but this really helped me"
"You're welcome. It helped me too. I think we really need it. Plus it was fun swinging again with you" Cyrus said smiling
TJ smiled back "Apparently we always help each other"
"Yeah, always" Cyrus said beaming "Promise me that you'll be happy" added.
"I promise you"
"That's my basketball guy"
Desde mi cielo os arroparé en la noche (From my heaven, I will clothe you in the night)
y os acunaré en los sueños (and I will cradle you in dreams)
Y espantaré todos los miedos (And I will scare away all fears)
TJ watched Cyrus move away from the swings, at one point he stopped and looked back to see TJ smiling.
"We will see us again, not-so-scary-basketball-guy" And then Cyrus disappeared
"We will see us again, chocolate-chocolate chip muffin"
