Overprotective

Cyrus was walking to TJ's house; they had planned to spend Saturday afternoon together. Two weeks after Andi's party, they were happy, he thought about everything that had happened between them and how they're finally together. By now only his friends knew about them; they aren't ready to make public their relationship. When he arrived at TJ's house he knocked on the door, being received by Amber.

"Hi Cyrus. How are you?" Amber asked smiling

"Hi Amber. I'm fine thanks. How are you?"

"Fine. Come in TJ is still getting ready" She moved so that Cyrus entered

"Thanks."

"Weirdo, Cyrus is here. Hurry up" Amber screamed

"I will go down in a few minutes" TJ answered from upstairs

Amber rolled her eyes "Come to sit with me while he is ready"

"I'm happy that you guys are together" Amber said sitting down on the couch next to Cyrus

"Thank you. We're happy. Your brother is a great guy" Cyrus said blushing.

"I know, even sometimes he is a little annoying"

Cyrus chuckle "TJ say the same thing about you"

"Ugh I'm not surprise. Is part of our sibling relationship" Amber laughed "since we talk about TJ..."

"You're gonna embarrassing him" Cyrus interrupted Amber laughing 

"Maybe later" Amber giggled "You are my best friend and you know that I adore you, right?"

"Yes, you're my best friend and I adore you too" Cyrus said smiling her

"But" Amber stopped smiling and crossed her arms

Cyrus swallowed nervously "I didn't like that but"

"TJ is my little brother and even sometime he made me crazy, I love him so much. So it is my job take care him and protect him. You're his first boyfriend and I need to know that you'll treat him well. Will you do it?" Amber raise her eyebrows and Cyrus nodded 

"You know, TJ may seem confident but he has some problems with his self-esteem" Amber frowned at Cyrus while she was talking "So you have to promise not hurt him and treat him well. Promise?"

Cyrus nodded quickly "Yes, I-I- I promise. I-I- ne- never hurt h-him"

"You stuttered. You didn't sound convincing. If some reason you hurt him, you will have to deal with me" Amber leaned towards Cyrus "I'll be watching you Cyrus, I'll be watching you" she whispered at him

Cyrus swallowed nervously while Amber continued watching intimidating.

"Hey, I'm ready" TJ frowned and looked repeatedly between Cyrus and Amber "Cyrus, why do you look like you've seen a ghost? What are you guys talking about?"

"Oh just a little chat to make sure that this boy here he didn't hurt you" Amber comment pointing at Cyrus

"Ambeeer" TJ growled

"What? He is your first boyfriend. I need to be 100% sure that it won't happen, you're my little brother"

"ugh this is so embarrassing"

"That is also my job" Amber said smirking

"You're so annoying. Now if you excuse us we need to go" TJ took Cyrus hand and help him stood up from the couch

Amber stood up too and whisper to Cyrus "take care of him. Remember I'm watching you"

"Amber, you're scaring my boyfriend" TJ said hugging Cyrus

"I'm just doing my job" Amber said smiling

"Let's go Cy" They leave the house and started walking to the movie theater.

TJ sighed "I'm so sorry muffin" he said "She is...a little overprotective"

"A little? I would say too much" Cyrus said

"Well yeah, but according to her is 'her older sister job'. Sometimes it's like she was a bear mom and I'm her bear cub"

"Teej, that comparison doesn't help me at this moment" Cyrus laughed nervously

"Sorry. But you don't have to worry or scare. You're a person unable to hurt others. You're adorable" TJ said messing Cyrus' hair

"Thank you" Cyrus said blushing

"But you know, now I need to learn to deal with an overprotective Amber" Cyrus continue

"You only have to deal with Amber meanwhile I have to deal with Buffy and Andi. That's no fair, Underdog"

"But Amber seems to be more overprotective"

"mmm... It is probably because she is my sister. It's something between siblings" TJ said

"So you're saying that you also overprotect her" Cyrus said intrigued

"Yes, as I said it's something between siblings. But don't tell her, she doesn't know that. She doesn't even know that I confronted Jonah after they break up"

"Why you don't want to she know?"

"Because I want to she know that she's still my personal super heroine, just like when we were young"

"awww you're a great brother and such a soft boy" Cyrus said teasing him

"shush" TJ said blushing "let's hurry up"

After seeing The Lion King, walk in the park and eat ice cream, they return to TJ's house. As they approached they saw Amber at the entrance of the house

"and you say I shouldn't be scared" Cyrus whispered at TJ as they approached the entrance

TJ sighed "I'm complete Ambs"

"I just want to make sure. I give you guys a minute" Amber frowned at Cyrus before back inside the house. TJ and Cyrus laughed by that.

"You'reright she is such a mom" Cyrus said laughing 

"I have fun today" TJ said smiling

"Yeah me too"

TJ hugged Cyrus "text me when you arrive at your house. And be careful"

Cyrus returns the hug "Yes. I will"

Amber opened the door again and clear her throat, making that Tj and Cyrus separate

TJ quick kiss Cyrus' cheek "Bye muffin"

"Bye Teej" Cyrus said blushing "Bye Amber" he said nervously

"Bye Cyrus" Amber said coldly

Amber and TJ entered the house. Amber smiled and hugged TJ "Tell me everything, little bro"
