Next day.....8: 30 in the morning

Davina's pov

I wake up to whispering next to me. I slowly open my eyes and sit up to see Kol sat up in bed, dressed for the day and he has the twins cuddled either side of him and they're whispering to each other. Kol is wearing a black t-shirt, dark wash skinny jeans and brown boots.

"Good morning, my beautiful family" I say to my wonderful husband and children"mommy!" Kylan and Elvira squeal as they tackle me into a hug making me laugh "hi babies" I say wrapping my arms around them. Kol smiles at us "good morning love" he greets me as he leans down to kiss me making me smile "morning" I respond as he pulls away. "How long have you guys been awake?" I ask "like forever mommy" Kylan says making me giggle. "We've only been up half an hour" Kol says "why didn't you wake me?" I ask "you looked so peaceful. I didn't want to disturb you" he replies "aw well that's sweet of you but next time wake me up, I don't want to keep you guys waiting" I respond "alright but just don't scratch my eyes out when I do" he retorts "I'd never do that. I love you and your perfect brown eyes too much to do that" I respond making him smirk and give me another kiss making me smile. I quickly break the kiss since the kids are present "right let's get ready. I'm starving and I need food pronto" I say getting out of bed. "Alright, I'll get Kylan ready" Kol replies picking up Kylan "alright. I'll see to Elvira. I'll meet you downstairs" I respond giving him a kiss on the lips before picking up Elvira and leaving the room with Kol behind me as he's going to Kylan's room.

I arrive at Elvira's room and I sit her down on her bed before picking out some clothes from her wardrobe. "What do you think baby?" I ask holding up the pink, pleated dress and white cardigan I picked out for her. "I like it mommy" she replies clasping her hands together making me giggle. "Okay take your pajamas off sweetheart while I pick out some shoes" I respond, placing the clothes down on the bed she nods and stands up, beginning to take off her pajamas while I look through her closet of shoes. Yes she has a closet of shoes, she doesn't have an over the top amount of shoes, she only has like 15 pairs of shoes. Most of the shoes were brought by my mother and sister.

I decide on a pair of pink shoes which have a little pineapple on the front. I turn around and walk over to Elvira who is undressed and trying to put her dress on making me smile softly. "Hold on, sweetheart. Let me help you" I say kneeling down and adjusting the dress on her and pulling it down. "There you go. That's much better" I say "thank you mommy" she says "you're welcome sweetie" I respond grabbing her cardigan and putting it on her. "Mommy?" she says "yes sweetheart" I reply "am I gonna get a baby sister?" she asks glancing at my baby bump. "I don't know. Why do you ask?" I ask as I sit her down on her bed and put her shoes on "I think it's a girl" she replies "do you now?" I ask she smiles and nods "Kylan thinks it's a boy" she replies "of course he will. It's only natural for a boy to want a little brother and a girl to want a little sister or sometimes it's the opposite" I respond as I pick her up and walk over to the vanity desk. I sit her down on the chair and I pull up a chair behind her. I then grab a brush and start brushing her hair "well I want a baby sister, so she'll be my bestest friend" she replies making my heart melt. "I thought Kylan was your best friend?" I ask as I start styling her hair "he's okay but he doesn't play dollies with me" she replies making me giggle slightly. "Well no matter whether I have a boy or a girl. This baby will definitely be your best friend. He or she will look up to you and Kylan, so you're gonna need to be good and kind to the baby, okay? And you're gonna have to protect the baby if me and your daddy aren't around" I say "don't worry mommy. I'll be a very good big sister" she replies making me smile. "I don't doubt you won't sweetheart" I respond as I finally finish styling her hair. I've styled her hair into little pig tails with pink bows but I've done three little plaits across the top of her head. I help Elvira off the chair and lead her over to the mirror. "Okay, what do you think sweetheart?" I ask giggling as she gasps as she inspects herself "it's perfect mommy. I like pretty" she says "you always look pretty sweetheart. Now let's go to my room and you can help me get ready" I respond grabbing her hand as she turns around "okay mommy" she replies as we leave the room.
