Chapter 15

Leaving

Jimin sat in a stall in the public bathroom as he heard a voice, "Jimin I'm sorry...can we talk?"

Jimin was angry, "No. The date is off." Jimin clearly said as he heard Yoongi put his hand on the latch trying to open it. "Please, come on."

"What's the point. We get together, Rosé comes along and it's like us never happened. Just be with her already, I'm done with this broken relationship. Sometimes I just wish we could be more like Jungkook and Taehyung..."

"We can. We can try and our relationship can—"

"Shut up Yoongi." Jimin interrupted. "Can't you see, it's never going to work. Ever. No matter what we do, it's never going to work. We're not meant for each other." Jimin said stoically.

Jimin got up from the stall and unlocked the latch and opened the door, revealing Yoongi as a tear made it way down his cheek.

"Love isn't real Yoongi. Sometimes, we just think it is so that we could be happy." Jimin said as he walked past Yoongi but bumped his shoulder, triggering something in him.

Yoongi immediately grabbed Jimin's arm and pulled him back and pushed him against the bathroom wall. "Jimin. You don't understand."

Jimin's eyes were widened. "What do you—"

Yoongi slammed his fist into the wall, near Jimin's face. "I fucking hate myself. I'm a terrible person I get it but...don't you understand that I'd give up everything in the world for you...I-I..." His voice cracked.

Yoongi was full on crying at this point and Jimin didn't understand why he was crying for him. He never saw Yoongi cry and this was an upsetting sight to see.

"Yoongi?" Jimin said in a small voice. "I think... I think I should go..." Jimin explained.

"B-But.." Yoongi stuttered as Jimin moved away and he sighed, walking out of the bathroom and leaving Yoongi at a loss.

"I'm sorry..." Jimin lastly said to Yoongi before he disappeared.

Sorry that me and Tae had to leave you, we had to clock that bitch Rosé so that Yoongi could have alone time with you. Oh and don't worry, we didn't actually hurt her😅 We just occupied her.

Jimin turned off his phone after he had read the message, flopping flat on his bed, regretting his decisions.

I shouldn't have left Yoongi, Jimin thought but shook it off as he thought positively. That maybe if he went to school the next day, Yoongi and him would have things sorted out and that they'd be talking normally again.

Jimin heard a knock on his door as he immediately sat up, "Yeah?"

The door opened and revealed Jimin's mother at the door with a bowl of mac and cheese. "Are you okay honey?" Jimin's mother walked towards him and he nodded as she handed him the bowl with a fork.

"I'm made you some dinner." She said gently and Jimin shook his head, "I'm not hungry." He admitted as his mother grew worried.
