Call me
1 week later...
"Mom! Did I get any mail?" Jimin said as he ran downstairs while wearing his white supreme hoodie.
"No honey." Jimin's mother said as she placed a pancake on Jimin and his father's plates.
Jimin sat at the dining table as he noticed his father's face was covered by a newspaper he was currently reading. Jimin tapped on his father's hand as it had been a long time since his father had joined them at the table.
"Yes son—J-Jimin." He stuttered not looking his way and Jimin bit his lip,
"Um...Did you see any mail from the past week? Like from Yoongi? I know it's weird to ask but—"
"Jimin." The father put the newspaper down, "There's no need to wait around for some boy who doesn't give a damn about you. If he did, he would've sent you a letter by now but he didn't. So stop asking us and eat your breakfast."
"Darling!" Jimin's mom said sternly.
His father pointed his fork at Jimin, "It's true! If he doesn't face reality I'll tell him."
Jimin looked down, proceeding to eat his pancakes as his father also obliged to do so too and his mother sighed, joining them.

"Hey...I-I wanted to show you something." Jungkook said as he was kneeling near his mother's grave as he held out a pot with a plant in it. "It's Taekook." He said, "I-It's a stupid name and all but I-I used the strawberry seeds you left me...are you proud?" Jungkook said as he tried to wipe his fallen tears but that's when his plant instantly fell, the pot breaking on the pavement that surrounded his mother's grave because it was what he stood on so that his mother had space.
"Shit!—s-sorry mom I-I..." Jungkook tried to pick up the plant with the surviving soil that was around it but it wasn't helping. More tears fell, "I-I'm so careless..." Jungkook scolded himself as he ruffled his hair in agitation.
He was cursing under his breath when he suddenly saw a shadow towering him so he looked up. "Oh—it's y-you.." Jungkook's voice cracked slightly due to his crying.
"Can I help—"
"N-No. I don't need your..." Jungkook immediately interrupted but trailed off as Taehyung bent down to his level and took his hand in his.
"I-I said I don't—"
Taehyung began brushing off the dirt on Jungkook's hands and he kissed them. "Be more careful..." Taehyung advised and then he cupped Jungkook's cheeks, wiping the tears away as he stared deeply into Jungkook's eyes.
Jungkook immediately tensed up and looked away but Taehyung urged him, "Look here..." Taehyung said as he touched Jungkook's hair, taking out bits of soil that made their way there due to Jungkook ruffling it with his dirty hands.
Jungkook still didn't look, "T-Taekook fell..." Jungkook said, really concerned and Taehyung immediately smiled his signature box smile.
"Don't worry, we can take Taekook back to your house and fix it." Taehyung looked at Jungkook's mother's grave, "Only if your mother allows me to."
