The Bet

Chapter 3

Skyler POV

Ash took me to a Junkyard he trusted because he knew I wanted to fix my car to be what I wanted and knew I was gonna get a good deal, I was surprised at the amount of cars they had in good condition and decided on a 2017 Ford Mustang GT, it wasn't one of the best they had so the deal was worth it, it could run at least and even though the outside wasn't the prettiest the inside was almost brand new, this would've cost me a pretty penny in any other place if the owner wasn't Ash's acquaintance and if Ash wasn't here since something tells me the owner is afraid of Ash.

"You can come to my house and work on it there, after leaving it there we can go buy the parts you need." Ash said to me when we got closer to the cars and I nodded.

"Thanks you're a life saver, I don't I would've been able to work on it at campus." I say to him with a smile opening the door.

"I can also help you if you want." He said opening the door to his car.

"Sure." I say smiling and getting in the car following him to his house, it wasn't a mansion but it wasn't small either. I parked my car in the garage he had which was big enough for 3 cars and go in his car again to go to the store. We bout car parts, paint and the equipment we needed to actually paint the car properly, a lot of money was spent on all this but thankfully I don't have to buy the tools just yet since Ash has them at his house. Maybe I could go to dad's house and get the ones there later on? Am I ready to go there? Am I ready to face that place again? I'll have to think about this later.

"Can we drop by my dorms so that I could change? I need cloth that can get ruined." I ask Ash and he nods driving towards the dorms and I hurried out of the car almost running towards the dorms and opening the door to find Xavier, Carla, and Sam in the room.

"Oh you're back! How was car hunting?" Sam asked, I'm not so surprised that non of them have a headache after everything they drank last night and the fact that Sam hadn't even come back last night.

"It was good I just came here to change and I'm leaving again." I say but then thought about it, changing to the cloth I am in front of this is probably not a good idea..

"On second thought I'll just get the cloth." I mumble walking to the closet and pulled out a old strap crop top I brought knowing I would be working on the car I chose and some butty short old jeans I don't use anymore with some close shoes that I honestly would've thrown away if it wasn't because I used them to fix cars and stuff.

"Where are you going with those cloth?" I knew who it was without even having to turn around, his accent and the fact that he's the only guy here answered everything.

"I don't think that has anything to do with you." I say turning around to notice his closeness to me making my breath stop for a second and take a step away from him getting a bag and putting the cloth inside.

"But you got me curious." His voice got low and his breath on the back of my neck making me jump away and raise a brow at him with a scoff. He needs to stop before I hit him.

"I thought I gave you a warning yesterday." I say turning to pull out some underwear as well maybe I'll be taking a bath at Ash's later today.

"I haven't touched you have I?" He asked with a smirk making me roll my eyes.

"I'm leaving." I say walking pass him to the room to see Sam and Carla on the bed looking at me.

"I don't know if I'll be back today, I have a lot of work to do." I say making Xavier raise a brow at me but I ignored it getting out of the room.

Xavier POV

Work? With those cloth? What kind of work is she gonna do?

"So you didn't manage to make a move on her?" Sam said in a teasing way making me flip her off and walk out of the room following her out of the building without her noticing to see Ashton's car and she got in making small talk with him before nodded and turned the car back on and left. Did she really just left with Ashton instead of staying with me? Why am I so curious with her anyway? What's wrong with me? I'm mad about her leaving with him but I have no idea why..

Skyler POV

We made it to Ash's house again to see another car parked there with a woman getting out of it. She was beautiful! Her hair was dyed a light pink color, her skin was light and so perfect, her eyes were a green and brown color.. she almost looks like a perfect natural doll. Her eyes hardened slightly when she saw me getting out of the car with Ash.

"Babe, I didn't know you got back today." Ash said walking towards her me behind him as he walked towards her kissing her head making me smile.

"You hadn't told me you found a girlfriend Ash." I say with a giggle and he turned around giving me a guilty smile.

"Sorry, we haven't talked in so long I didn't think I'd call just to tell you." He said making me chuckle.

"It's fine, I'm Skyler by the way." I say extending my hand to the woman.

"I'm Violet." She said making me smile.

"That's a pretty name, anyway Ash mind if I use your bathroom?" I ask and he shook his head as all three of us walk inside the house, Violet seems to have calmed down after I introduced myself to her and I went to the bathroom to change.
