*Bella's Point Of View*

Leaving Ron alone in his dark room, I walk away as quietly as possible. Once I'm back to my room in the Hufflepuff dormitories, I lie down in bed and drift off into a dream.

In my dream, I am running. Something is chasing me. Something is trying to get me, but I don't know what. I keep running and running and running. In my dream, I glance back as I run, and then I finally see what is chasing me.

It is Draco. Draco is chasing me. Dressed in his Slytherin robes and looking desperate, Draco dashes after me.

"Bella!" Draco yells. "Stop! Bella, please! Please stop! I'm begging you!"

In my dream, I don't stop. In my dream, I keep running.

"Bella, I need you!" Draco shouts. "Come to me! Please come!"

"I don't need you!" I yell back. "You're too controlling and you keep bullying my best friend! Just leave me alone!"

"Bella, please!"  Draco insists. It sounds like he might be crying.

"Go away!" I holler. I keep running.

"Bella, don't do this to me," Draco says. His voice distorts some. His voice is suddenly deeper and angrier and sounds closer than before. Chills run down my spine. "You're... going... to... regret... this." I look back again just as he points his wand at me. "Imperio!"

Suddenly, I stop running. I want to keep going, but I can't. It's almost as if an unseen force is holding me back. Suddenly, I have to stay and do whatever Draco wants, although I want to resist. My mind goes blank. An odd sense of hazy calm settles over me. It's as if my mind has been emptied and filled with fog.

Draco used the Imperius Curse on me.

"There we go," Draco says softly. His voice sounds quiet and pleased now. He appears at my side and smiles at me as he pulls me into his arms. "Now you can't leave me. I am in control of you now. You are mine forever now, and you will do as I say." He strokes my hair. "Everything is as it should be."

I nod like a no-brained robot. I nod as if I am being programmed to do so. Like it's the only thing I can do. I don't want to, but I don't have any other option.

Draco used the Imperius Curse on me, and now he is controlling me and my mind.

"Bella!" I hear a voice scream. I look over and see Ron running towards me. Tears are rolling down his cheeks.

I want to run to him, but I can't.

"Bella!" Ron screams again.

"I'm warning you... stay away!" Draco yells at Ron. He lifts his wand and points it at Ron.

I want to save Ron, but I can't.

"Avada Kedavra!" Draco shrieks. A flash of green light comes from his wand.

I watch in horror, unable to help or even scream, as Ron falls to the ground.

I wake up screaming. I sit up in my bed and feel nothing but sheer terror. I look around and finally calm down.

It was a dream. Thank goodness it was a dream.

Ron is safe.

Heart pounding, I flop back against the pillows, wiping the tears that are rolling down my face.

That was the worst nightmare ever.
