Kate turned her head towards him as her heart shattered into a million pieces. Her blood boiled up, and her eyes almost let the tears come out.
"What?" Vanessa asked, turned towards him too, "you didn't." The boy looked down at his phone, fiddling with it gently. Evelyn turned to the boy, surprised also.
"I can't believe it," Vanessa started, "your acting tough. Every time you like someone, you push them away by being mean. That's not right."
Kate touched Vanessa's shoulders, and signaled her to leave.
"Shit always goes down in the living room," Vanessa muttered as we walked out the door.

"Officials say that it was an accident that caused them to be in the hospital, along with a two girls, whose names we have found out," the reporter said, grabbing a piece of paper being handed to her.
"Kate and Kora Warren. Their father was driving the car, apparently heading to the hospital already to tend Kate's cut up hand. Kate Warren has been injured pretty badly due to being on the right side where the other car had hit. Kora Warren was in the back and of course, Collin Warren was driving the car. We haven't had any reports on them for almost 2 hours." the reporter said, sadly.
"My name is Meghan Delano, and this is Canal of Intelligence."
Aidan shut the TV off. What the hell?
He grabbed his jacket and headed out the door. He rushed towards the Warren's household, where no one was home. Damnit, Kate.
