Life. Different for everyone. Everyone has different experiences. Everyone has different opinions. Everyone has different feelings. Everyone hits highs and lows at different times. Everyone is different. Happiness, sadness, anger, loneliness, excitement, disappointment, nervousness. Some of the many emotions we experience on this roller coaster of life. Some good, some bad but all essential to our experience. All essential for beautiful memories and lessons. No emotion has to take away your happiness. No emotion has to tell you what to feel. They don't control how you feel. You do. If you don't like it, change it.

If something is making you sad: focus on something good that happened that day.

If something is making you angry: distract yourself with a hobby or something else you love to do until you cool off.

If something is making you nervous: breathe, it means you care. You'll be ok. You got this. Channel that energy into doing your absolute best at whatever it is you may be nervous about. Reminder: most of the things we worry about don't actually come true. So don't worry, you got this!

If something is making you lonely: there are people out there who love you, care about you, can't live without you. You are loved. You do have people who care surrounding you. You are not alone. Ever.

If you feel heartbroken: depending on the type of broken heart you have will depend on how it gets better. You need to find what works for you. But it does get better. It will heal. This pain will go away. It hurts but just give it time. Even baby steps is progress. Whether you think so or not you are getting better. It does get better.

If you feel disappointed in yourself: you did your best. You are your best you. Never ever feel the need to be someone else. You're the only you and you totally rock at it. Don't be disappointed in who you are. Don't dull your shine.

If you feel happy: hang onto this feeling. Remember this moment. Take it all in moment by moment. Use these memories and moments as examples to assist you through all of those other emotion's tunnels. Happiness is a light. Let it guide you.
