Series

At first, all I had planned was my Bedrock Breakers book, maybe I would make a second one, and my Magnolvia trilogy. That was all I had planned! But then, me being me happened. Now I have 17 to 19 books. Four of them finished thankfully, but still so many more. Of course, my first series, as I call the Bedrock Breakers trilogy, was all I had in plan. But then recently, not even four full months ago I had an idea for a book that would take place AFTER those three. At the time I was stunned at myself for even going with a book that would be after a series I wasn't even finished with. However I began writing the book, now known as "Another Chapter." But before I was finished writing that one, which I did so in my journals, I actually wrote with my hand, such a wrist sore, :} I came up with another book that would take place even further after that! Go to my YouTube channel: ("CandyThePuppy") to see me announcing the idea in a book announcements video. Watching back I now laugh at myself for laughing so hard because it has only gotten crazier.

Originally the "Another Chapter" book was going to be called 'Descendants Of Heroes.' But the title would also fit my "Son Of Steve" book. So I had the idea to make it a name for a series so both books could have that awesome name in the title. And that's when things got crazy. I began adding more to this (Descendants Of Heroes) series. I started "Hazel," a prequel to Son Of Steve. I also started "Never Forever," which is another prequel to Son Of Steve. More and more books began showing up. I have started planning a second book to Another Chapter, probably called something like, "The Book Of Notes."

And as I wrote, I noticed a strong fear of mine was slowly taking form as a villain at first only mentioned, then he talks to someone in a dream, he assumes an identity and tries to get help, then he finally shows himself, until in my 'supposed to be final book' he breaks through into the second plate of reality and tries to take over everything. Not just one of my worlds, not just one of my stories, but all of them. Both me and this character began to appear everywhere. As so, I began connecting the worlds, taking the villain along with me as I went.

The main reason I started separating my books into series was so it would be easier for both me and the readers to understand better which is when. Yeah I could have just numbered them, which I sort of do, but that wouldn't be enough. I needed to know exactly who or what I would be able to slide into what time-frame and it make sense and add to the story instead of detract from it. So I came up with two series. Two large portions of the timeline neatly split up so it would be  easier to know which was when.

First: (Bedrock Breakers)- containing: "Stronger Than Legends," "Betrayal," and "All Comes Back Around."

I have already finished book 1 and all three covers at this time. This is definitely my better planned out series since when I started I had no idea that I would be writing almost twenty books in a couple years. And yes, I have been planning my Bedrock Breakers series for quite some time. Not as long as I have the Magnolvia series however. I first came up with that at age seven. I have a file full of proof in my file-bin if anyone wants me to prove it! :]

Second: (Descendants Of Heroes)- containing: "Another Chapter," "Book Of Notes," "Son Of Steve," "Hazel," "Never Forever," and the 'choose your own adventure story'

Descendants Of Heroes was seen as the after the he main story kind of thing, how the events of the earlier books changed everything. But then it became basically the bulk of the story. Now with more books in it than I had thought there would be.

And of course you might have noticed that I didn't name off about half of my stories. Well, that's because they are what I call, straggler stories. Those are the stories that do run along the same timeline, but usually are told through another point of view or simply in another universe as the events of the series go on. But even the straggler stories have their importance. They tell parts of the story that the others couldn't tell. They convey emotions others might have not been able to do because everyone already knows everyone or something like that. A couple even seem to have no connection at all to the main timeline, but without them there would be most of the story gone. You just have to know how it all fits in. Even something as simple as a name of someone that is mentioned could be your only, but most important connection to the main story.
