Before I Go

His bright smile that turned into a frown was the last thing that Baekhyun saw before he left.

What did he do? That, he has no idea. If he could remember it correctly, they were just happily playing Monopoly before good things became shit.

He was just talking about their old friend who admitted that she has a crush on Baekhyun.

"Could it be...?" He shook his head in disbelief. Chanyeol couldn't be possibly jealous of Taeyeon.

Shaking his head, Baekhyun went to the garage and started looking for Chanyeol...again.

Baekhyun has no idea where to look first, and to be honest, he doesn't even have any idea where Chanyeol is.

Hours later, he gave up. He drove back home and lied down.

"Chanyeol-ah, where could you possibly be?" He asked, tears streaming down his face while scanning his and Chanyeol's photos on his phone.

With that, he fell asleep, his pillows stained with tears.

Little did he know, Chanyeol, on the other hand, already wanted to go back home. But he doesn't know how to, and how to apologize.

But he knew that a simple sorry would do. Because that's Baekhyun, he's kind, he's understanding. He would probably understand that he got jealous that he ran away.

But that's not an enough reason to leave Baekhyun behind.

"He's definitely crying right now. My world, my husband, my love, is crying because of me. Stupid, Chanyeol. Stupid," He said, hitting his head repeatedly.

He wants to apologize for his shallowness. He wants to apologize for leaving him. He wants to apologize for everything.

"Can you still remember when we were still close to Taeyeon? The time when she said she has a crush on me?" Baekhyun laughed at the thought.

But then stopped laughing when he noticed Chanyeol's changing of mood.

"Channie? Are you okay?" worriedly, he touched Chanyeol's cheeks.

Chanyeol shivered.

"Y-yes. I'm o-okay. C-continue..." Chanyeol said, trying to hold his tears back.

He felt jealous.

Why do Baekhyun's eyes sparkle everytime that he talks about Taeyeon?

"And the time when you and Taeyeon fought because of me? Because you accidentally spilled your coffee on me?" Baekhyun chuckled.

'That's it.' Chanyeol thought.

He couldn't take all of these Taeyeon talks.

Chanyeol stood up, and went outside.

"Chanyeollie? Where are you going?" Baekhyun asked but Chanyeol didn't mind.

"Chanyeol-ah." Baekhyun tried to call Chanyeol but Chanyeol acted like as if he weren't hearing anything. Acting as if he was deaf.

"Chanyeol," He called but Chanyeol was already out of sight.

He left Baekhyun alone just like that. Without even saying goodbye. They didn't even got the chance to finish their game of Monopoly.
