Before I Go

Kyungsoo and Jongin has no idea about what's happening.

"Kyungsoo, calm down," Jongin tried to calm Kyungsoo down but it didn't worked.

"Calm down?! You think that I could calm down?! My bestfriend is inside that room, unconscious, with machines connected to his body, and you expect me to calm down?!" Kyungsoo said, with tears coming out from his eyes.

"Hyung, I know that you're also worried about Baekhyun-hyung. I am also worried. But if Baekhyun-hyung sees you pacing back and forth non stop, I think that he'd say the same," Kyungsoo looked at Jongin. Jongin smiled at him.

"This is the first time that you've said something sensible, Jongin," Kyungsoo smiled weakly at Jongin and sat beside him.

They both looked at Baekhyun through the mirror. Doctors were trying to know his state.  Everytime that a doctor would shake his head, Kyungsoo's heart breaks a little.

"Baekhyun-ah, wake up, you said that you're gonna look for Chanyeol. B-Baekhyun... I promise... w-we'll help you look for y-your husband... j-just wake up..." Kyungsoo said while crying.

"Stop crying, Baekhyun hyung won't like that," Jongin pats Kyungsoo's back lightly, just to stop him from crying.

It was a relief to see the doctor finally coming out from the room in which Baekhyun was observed.

Kyungsoo had his hopes up for good news. His heart is beating fast that he feels like he's gonna run out of breath.

He hopes that Baekhyun will wake up soon, that everything will be okay.

But life is cruel that it wasn't.

It's been three days since Baekhyun aas brought to the hospital, and it's been three days since they heard his voice.

"Jonginnie, take care of Baekhyunnie," Kyungsoo said, standing up.

"H-huh? Wae? Where are you going?" Jongin asked.

"I'm gonna look for that bastard who left Baekhyun without a sensible reason. That bastard who made Baekhyun suffer. That bastard who hurt our bestfriend, and most importantly, that bastard who broke our bestfriend's heart," Kyungsoo said.

"But Kyung, he's nowhere to be found. Where are you gonna look for him?" Jongin asked, an eyebrow raised.

"I know Chanyeol. He's not far from here. Although I'm not really sure if he's there," Kyungsoo said.

"Alright. Just don't stress yourself, Kyungsoo. Call me anytime," Jongin says as he hugs his boyfriend.

"I will," Kyungsoo hugs back, sparing one last glance at Baekhyun before he left.

Kyungsoo has an idea about Chanyeol's hiding place. In fact, it was way too obvious.

Kyungsoo knew Chanyeol before he met Baekhyun. He even served as the cupid when Chanyeol was courting Baekhyun.

He arrived at Chanyeol and Baekhyun's shared estate at noon. He went out of his car and entered the Park residence.

"PARK FUCKING CHANYEOL! GET THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR HIDING PLACE YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT!" Kyungsoo said furiously.

He knows Chanyeol more than anyone else.

And before he calls him again, Chanyeol popped out of nowhere.

"Hey, Kyungsoo," Chanyeol smiled.

Kyungsoo immediately attacked Chanyeol with light punches and said, "You asshole! We were worried sick! Where were you all the time?! Why did you ran away?! Why are you not answering any of our calls?! You ass!"

"Hey, are you crying?" Chanyeol's face became worried. He haven't seen Kyungsoo cry like this before.

"Chanyeol... I-I'm okay... But your h-husband... i-isn't.."

Chanyeol's face became pale.

"W-why? What happened to Baekhyun?" he asked worriedly.

"Don't fool me, Chanyeol. I know that everytime Baekhyun searches for you, you just follow him around. I know that you're hiding somewhere near here. But Baekhyun is just too dense to notice," Kyungsoo said, staring intently at Chanyeol's eyes. Like shooting invisible daggers at him.

"Uhh.. yes, I was following him around. But no, I wasn't staying here. I was at our house, I had to accompany mom... I only go here everytime he looks for me,"

Kyungsoo's phone suddenly rang.

"Hyung... Baekhyun-hyung is awake,"

Kyungsoo couldn't say anything. Instead, his tears did it for him. He ended the call and wiped his tears away.

He ended the call, leaving a shocked Chanyeol.

"W-why? Why are you crying? W-what happened?" Chanyeol tried to analyze Kyungsoo's face.

He tried to wipe Kyungsoo's tears away but Kyungsoo just pushed Chanyeol's hand away.

He didn't say anything.

Baekhyun, on the other hand, just stared at the white wall, not saying anything.

"Hyung? Hyungie, are you okay?" Jongin asked Baekhyun while waving his hands in front of him.

Baekhyun's face was with no reaction. He just nodded.

"Ch-ch-chanyeol... where... is Ch-chanyeol?"

Jongin didn't answer. He just remained silent.

Jongin has no idea if Kyungsoo had already found Chanyeol or not. Because when he called, he didn't say anything about Chanyeol, in fact, he didn't say a thing at all.

"I.. I don't know, hyung..." Jongin looked away, avoiding pleading gazes from Baekhyun, whose eyes are red and puffy because of crying.

Baekhyun felt empty, without Chanyeol for a year. He doesn't know what to feel anymore.

"Kyungsoo? Where are you taking me? Why are you in a hurry?" Chanyeol asked Kyungsoo, who was dragging his wrist while running towards Kyungsoo and Jongin's shared car.

"And where is Baekhyun? And Jongin?" He asked again.

Kyungsoo paid no attention to Chanyeol, who is giving Chanyeol looks.

"Kyungsoo-"

"Baekhyun is sick, okay?!? And it's because of you! You have no idea how hard it was for me, for us, to see Baekhyun not eating, not taking care of himself, not talking to us, crying every night, not sleeping, and worse, doing things just to end he's life because he thinks that he isn't enough for you?! Because you left him?!"

Chanyeol didn't say anything. Instead, his tears did it for him.

"Chanyeol, Baekhyun is dying."
