The whole drive home was painfully quiet. The only thing breaking the silence was the radio softly playing in the background. The two of them held hands the entire time. Both of them knew what was coming but neither of them wanted to accept it. There was tension in the air and Izzy and Josh both felt it. As they entered their home, Izzy was the first one to break the silence:
,, Aren't you gonna say something?"
He just looked at her with those chocolate eyes of his, which were now filled with pain and sorrow, and started breaking down. He fell into her arms and held her like he was never going to hold her again and just repeated the same words over and over again:
,,Sunshine, I can't lose you. Please don't leave me. Izzy, please don't go..."
But he was going to lose her, and he knew it damn well. She was about to close her eyes, fall asleep, and never wake up again. All those days spent together laughing and talking, all those smiles, warm hugs and soft kisses were now bound to be forgotten. She was going to fade away like she never even existed. His sunshine will not shine bright anymore, his sunshine was about to die.

While he was crying his eyes out in her arms, she just stood silent. She didn't know what to say. Honestly, any word that could come out of her mouth at this moment was just going to hurt him even more. She wasn't afraid of dying nor death itself. She was scared 'cause she knew that her passing was going to ruin his life. Because, you see, Josh and Izzy had something very special. Something that could not have been defined by words. It was beyond love itself. Actually, way beyond it. Their souls were destined to be connected, their bodies fitting like two peaces of a puzzle.
But, you see, love, no matter how strong you think it may is, is quite interesting. It comes and goes in many different ways, but sometimes, just sometimes, if it's true and innocent and strong enough, it never leaves your side. Like Izzy used to say:
,,I didn't believe in all that fairytale love crap until I met him. I didn't believe in true love, but as you get the chance to experience it, it changes your whole perspective of the world."

This is a story about a boy and a girl, a rockstar and a writer, who fell in love with each other. Their bodies were separated, but their souls always remained together.

A/N: I apologise for the misspelling or the wrong use of grammar, English is not my first language. This is a fiction, none of it should be taken seriously. It would mean a lot if you read it, and constructive criticism is always more than welcome. Enoy reading.
