Chapter Twenty-Nine

(Gabrielle's POV ; 4:30am)

I woke up, and all around me was darkness. I reached over to turn on my lamp, but just felt a bed comforter. I started to panic, where in the world was I? I sat up and started feeling around, I didn't feel anyone near me. Tears filled my eyes as I started feeling my chest tighten up, when suddenly I heard a flush, and a door opened, light spilling into the room. I saw Vinny in the doorframe and my heart instantly calmed. "Oh, hey sleepyhead. I'm sorry... Did I wake you?" He laughed, climbing back into bed with me. "It's fine... Just please don't ever leave me in pitch black again. I have a phobia of the dark!" I said, pulling him closer to me. "It's not a phobia of the dark, it's a phobia of what's in it...." He laughed, matter of factly. I hit his chest, and laughed. "Just cuddle with me you idiot." "Well then Little Miss Pushy!" He laughed, and got under the covers with me, wrapping his arms protectively around my small frame. I smiled, and buried my head into his chest. His scent filled my nose, making me sigh with relief. "I was so scared.... my chest actually started to get tight. It was scary as fuck...." I whispered, making Vinny laugh. "YOU JUST CUSSED!" He gasped, making me smile up at how innocent he was. "Shush... I was scared okay! Imagine waking up in an unfamiliar bedroom in the pitch dark... How would you feel?" I asked defensively. "If it was next to you, I'd feel pretty damn good, to be honest with you baby." Vinny smirked, I could feel it. "Ugh, you're such a boy sometimes!" I laughed, making him laugh too. I felt his chest vibrate, making me smile. It calmed me down, and just as I was slipping into sleep, Vinny spoke. "Gab?" He asked. "Yeah babe?" I asked sleepily, my eyelids feeling heavier by the second. "We never finished talking earlier...." He said, now playing with the ends of my hair. Oh my God, he was playing with my hair, he's gonna put me to sleep! "Oh yeah..." I stifled a giggle, and I could feel him smile. "So, what were you saying before Alessandra rudely interupted?" He asked, now rubbing his finger tips along my arm, mkaing me even more drowzy. "I was saying um...." I was thinking hard, but my brain was fighting me. I needed sleep. Without even consulting me, my eyelids shut, and I drifted off to sleep....

(Vinny's POV)

"Gab?" I whispered. "Gab?" I tried again. No answer. I looked down at her, and laughed. She had fallen asleep. Poor baby, she looked so tired! I moved the hair off her forehead, and placed a soft kiss on it. She doesn't get that I love her already, does she? I promised myself I'd never fall for a fan. Geo said it wasn't a good idea. But she's not just a fan. She's perfect. I have never felt this way about anyone else I've come across in my life. I was convinced this was love. It had to be. I smiled, and just stared down at her, trying to take in all her perfection. She doesn't see it, but I do. I see her beauty. And her awesome personality. I just want her to be mine. I shut my eyes, and smiled. I can't wait to know what she was gonna say. I think I have a pretty good idea though....
