Chapter Thirty-Four

(Gabrielle's POV)

After a long day of dance, me and Vinny headed back to his house. I was sweaty, but I felt accomplished, and those two things went together the best. "Today was so much fun! Eeeep!" I smiled, falling back on Vinny's bed. "I know right! I loved it so much. Dancing with you was great.... You're really talented." Vinny said, falling next to me. "Oh puhleaseee..." I rolled on to my side so I was facing him, and he did the same. "You're wayyy better than me." He laughed. "Obviously you've never actually seen yourself dance." I laughed, and smiled. "I wish I was better than you..." He laughed, and pulled me on top of him. I laid my head in the crook of his neck, and smiled against his skin. I swear, sometimes I forget we're not officially a couple. As if he could read my mind, Vinny laid me next to him, and leaned on his elbow so he could look down at me. "I have a question for you...." "I'm listening...." I smiled. "What would you do if I kissed you?" Vinny asked, I loved how he wasn't uncomfortable asking me these sort of things. I sat up, and shrugged, folding my hands in my lap. Vinny sat up too, and did the same. "Care to find out?" I smiled, and he pulled me towards him, and connected our lips. Sparks flew, and I could swear this was even better than the first time we kissed. I couldn't help but laugh at the thought, causing him to break our kiss. "What?" He smiled, running his hand through my hair. "Remember the first time we kissed?" I covered my mouth to stop the inhuman sound that is my laugh from coming out. "Oh my God.... How could I ever forget that?" Vinny smiled. "I know right... My first kiss... With VINNY CASTRONOVO." I sighed happily. Vinny tensed up, and I got worried. "What's wrong baby?" I laughed. "Oh, um, nothing. You were my first kiss too." Vinny smiled, and reconnected our lips. I couldn't help but smile even more. I had been Vinny Castronovo's first kiss....

(Vinny's POV)

"Sarah! Wait!" I called as she ran through the rain, probably crying her eyes out. Becase of me, of course. She turned and looked at me, her arms crossed tightly across her chest. I was right, her eyes were bloodshot, and even thought it was pouring rain, I could see the tear stains down her face. I had done this to her. "I'm sorry..." I said, moving closer to her. "No you're not Vinny! You're a little liar, and I hate you. I can't believe you did that!" Sarah screamed. Sarah is Jason's twin sister, she's two years younger than me... But she is absolutely perfect. My heart ached for her, but she probably hated me. Scratch that, I know for a fact she does. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to do it... She came on to me... I swear." At this point, we were face to face. I looked into her blue eyes, and got lost. Before I knew, or could even control it, I leaned in, and connected our lips. Our lips moved in sync, and I smiled, and disconnected from her. My first kiss had finally happened. She gasped, and slapped me, then ran off. I can't believe that just happened...

I can't believe I just lied to Gab. Why couldn't I have just told her about the whole Sarah thing? This lie I just created could ruin my chances with her. I need to tell her the truth. As I prepared to speak, she caressed my cheek, and smiled. "I can't tell you how much it means to me that we were each other's first kisses... I love you." She said, than connected our lips once again. I kissed her, but it didn't feel right. I didn't deserve her. But I loved her... I sighed. What she doesn't know won't kill her... Right? I decided to keep the whole Sarah thing from her. "Gabrielle?" I said, looking into her eyes. "Yes?" She asked, smiling. "Will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" I asked, rubbing her palm with my thumb. Gab smiled, and nodded, then connected our lips. She fell on top of me, causing me to fall backwards, and we fell deep into the kiss. I smiled, I think I made the right decision...
