Serenity was told her father abandon her, Her mother used her real father's named all of the time now Kenji, He had left them a card they could play, A good name to hide behind, She was a gold digger, But sadly her true father Kenji was a Wizard, He was a Male witch, And so it also was passed too Serenity, She didn't know always, Sometimes she made things happen when she was scared, Or when she couldn't explain things, But the time she was 7 she started to realize that she was able to understand that she had magic at her command.
But one day her mother found her working with a spell, she yelled and slapped Serenity harshly. She forbids Serenity from ever using magic again, she had once known that her father was a Wizard, she forbid her daughter from practicing, but when she wasn't around, Serenity would find a quiet place in her old gardens, it was always quiet there, there she met someone who wasn't human at all, she had learn that their Servant Evalyn was an Elf from another world of magic.

She had taught Serenity how to protect herself, And a few cloaking spells even, But most of the time, They were spells of healing, Elf don't really use dark magic normally, True they know them, But they were mostly peaceful creatures, Evalyn gave Serenity books to help her build up her gift all of the time, Serenity would read them, Her mother couldn't read the cover of the books, So because Serena magically change the cover of the books to make her think she was doing her studies.
She soon found a stray Cat, Black as night itself, she named her Luna. She had kept Luna with her everywhere she went.
After all Luna can talk to her as well. Darien and everyone just assumed it was her pet basically.
Serenity was mostly a lonely child as a girl, she didn't get to play and have many friends, her mother pushed her into a high-class school, she learned early on how to act and how to behave, she didn't like it to be honest.
