{Perrie}

Zayn was right. I didn't know how much I wanted this to happen. How much I wanted someone to make me feel special, wanted, needed. It was like, while I was kissing Zayn, all my troubles and worries went away.

It must have been about 10 minutes, and we were still fully making out. We hadn't even come up for air, which I don't know how either of us did that. Zayn's hands were now on each side of my face, holding my hair back out of the way. After another minute or so, Zayn pulled away, much to my disappointment. He looked into my eyes, and I couldn't help my smile, and let out a small giggle in the process.

"Now do you see that, all I want to do is make you happy?" Zayn smiled at me. His pure white teeth sparkled. I nodded, giggling lightly again as he dropped his hands from my face.

"Now will you go on a date with me?" Zayn questioned. My facial expression dropped. Just the word date made me worried.

"Zayn I can't. I don't date. I'm not ready to have a boyfriend right now" I said, walking back over to my desk.

"Perrie. Please don't shoot your guards up again" Zayn sighed.

"Zayn, I'm sorry. I'm not ready to have a boyfriend. What happened to me before was serious. I can't just let my guards down to anyone that's nice to me for a few minutes" I sat down at my desk, and Zayn came over and kneeled on the floor in front of my chair.

"I get that. I really do. I get that whatever happened to you that made you put your guards up, it hurt you. It destroyed you. And I can't make you put your guards down with me. But I can promise you one thing. I just want to make you happy. I want to be the reason there's a smile on your face every day. So please, give me a chance" Zayn quietly said. A tear rolled down my cheek, and fell onto my lap. I looked directly into Zayn's eyes and nodded softly. He smiled, and wiped my tears away with his thumb, before pecking my lips.

"Friday, after work. We'll go to a restaur-" I cut him off.

"I can't do Friday. I've already got plans" I said, remembering my girls night with Jade.

"Ok, how about Saturday?" he asked. I smiled slightly and nodded in responce. "Great." Zayn got up from the floor, and began to walk over to the door. "Come down to the fire escape when you arrive tomorrow. I'll be there waiting" he smiled and winked and I chuckled a little. Zayn unlocked the door, and left my office. Now to get on with these agendas. Just as I'd started, Jade walked in.

"Perrie, have you done those agendas yet?" she said, looking down at a clipboard. She sat down in one of the chairs on the other side of the desk, and looked up at me. "Oh" she said.

"What?" I questioned.

"Zayn's been in here, hasn't he" she asked, but said it in the manner of a fact, as if she knew already.

"No. Why do you think that?" I responded.

"Well your lipstick is smudged. Unless you've been making out with Mr Parker, the 50-year-old from the end of the corridor, Zayn's the only person that comes to mind" Jade chuckled. I covered my lips with my hand, and rubbed off my lipstick, from around my face. "You guys are so cute. I don't know why you don't just give him a chance" Jade smiled.

"I have" I said quietly.

"What? You're going out with him?" Jade cheerfully said.

"Yeah. He's really persuasive" I giggled slightly.

"When? Oh my god! I'm so excited" Jade clapped.

"Saturday. And why are you excited?" I questioned.
