Prologue: The Dark Prognosticus

Ahem! Today...

I'll tell you the story of the lost book of prophecies. This prophetic book was a mysterious time full of stories of future events. Of course, many people craved this book, wishing to glimpse their futures. But no person, after obtaining this amazing book, ever found happiness... The reason? The book held frightful secrets not meant for people's eyes. This book came to be called the Dark Prognosticus, and was sealed away.

This... Is the table of that forgotten book's last owner. It is a tale of love...

Once upon a time, it happened to be a beautiful day at the Mushroom kingdom, Mario, Luigi and their bunny friend Lianna happened to be enjoying themselves a tea party of sorts. Lianna happily sipped her tea and chatted with Mario and Luigi.

"So nice that we all are here together." Lianna said happily. Luigi smiled. "Yup, nothing like a peaceful day to relax and drink tea." Luigi replied. "Don't you guys wished that something could happen? I want to do something exciting..." Lianna said bored. Mario nodded in agreement. "Yeah. Something like a... KERBLOOEY! Something to make this day more exciting." Luigi replied.

Lianna nodded, Mario then suggested that they should all go out for a walk. "Great idea Mario! We should go for a walk..." Lianna replied in agreement. "Hmm... How about we visit the Mushroom Castle?" Luigi suggested. "Even better!" Lianna agreed.

Mario agreed as well, the three friends headed outside, when suddenly, there was screaming. "M-MARIO! HELP!" A toad cried out. They all approached the panicking toad. "Woah, what's going on? Why are you so crazy?" Luigi asked. "T-terrible news! Mushroom Castle, RAIDED! PRINCESS PEACH, STOLEN!" Toad cried out. Lianna and Mario gasped in shock. "WHAT?! Who would do such a thing?" Luigi asked.

Just then, Luigi had an idea. "Oh, I think I know. It must have been that guy! That bad guy!" Luigi explained. "Yeah! He is definitely the obvious choice!" Lianna explained. Mario nodded in agreement. "I won't stand for this. C'mon guys. Let's go break into his castle!" Luigi explained. Lianna and Mario nodded in agreement and headed off. "We're counting on you, Mario... Bros!" Toad called out.

Meanwhile inside of the Koopa Castle, Bowser was preparing his troops. "Alright Minions, today we unleash my awesome plan to invade the Mushroom Castle!" Bowser announced. The minions cheered in happiness, not noticing that the three heroes have arrived at the scene. Bowser noticed them, though he didn't recognize them at first. "Hey, you three! In the back! You're to hairy! We shave here!" Bowser explained, he jumped to them.

"What? Mario.... and Luigi?! And who the heck are you?" Bowser asked Lianna in confusion. "The name is Lianna the Bunny, and we know you have Peach! Unhand her and nobody gets hurt!" Lianna shouted. Mario got into attack position. "Yeah! What she said!" Luigi explained, getting into a fighting pose.

Bowser was just confused. "Wait, what? I haven't even begun my attack on the Mushroom Kingdom yet!" Bowser stated. "Wait? What?" Lianna asked confused. Mario was puzzled. If Bowser didn't have Peach, who could have her? "Mario! Help!" A familiar feminine cried out in horror, Peach was revealed to be in a rainbow cage of sorts. Luigi gasped. "Princess Peach!" He cried out.

Suddenly, a man in a top hat and cape shown up. "Bleck!" He shouted out loud. "Your Princess has been taken, by Count Bleck!" Count Bleck said out loud. "Huh?" Lianna asked in confusion. Bowser looked at the strange man. "Wait, by who?" He asked him.

Count Bleck bowed down. "By me... Count Bleck! The chosen executor of the Dark Prognosticus, is Count Bleck!" He explained out loud. "This fine fellow prophesied to come to this dimension, is Count Bleck!" He shouted. "I'll tell you who's making no sense right now. Count Bleck! Now why don't you just free the princess? I'm on a tight schedule!" Bowser called out.
