C HAPTER 6
*3 days after Andy’s Party*
-Lauren-
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock buzzing, echoing through out the whole room. I’ve decided that today I’ll go job hunting. I almost forgot that I’ve no job. I hope I could find a job today.
I stood up from my bed, stretching out my long legs and arms before proceeding to the bathroom. I stripped down my clothes then I stood under the hot running water for half an hour. Relaxing my body, then I applied A strawberry scented shampoo onto my hair, rinsing it all off, applying hair conditioner to smoothen out my hair before washing my body with Dove, rinsing all the soap out of my body. I turn off the knob of the shower, wrapping my body into a purple towel.
I went to the closet rummaging my clothes. HOLY MACARONI!! I’ve got noting to wear. I stood there for like five minutes not knowing what to wear. I know I have a pile of clothes but I don’t feel like wearing them today. Then finally, I decided to wear a white loose V-neck paired with a Red peplum skirt and some cream colored retro wedges. No make up just pink gloss on my lips to keep it from drying. I took a glance at the mirror. I look sloppy but somehow formal.
I grabbed my bag and keys hurrying along the pavement with a 4 inch heels, catching the bus that had left already. Oh well, what a great way to start the day. I waited for the next bus to arrive. Checking the list of addresses I’ve listed on my notebook.
First stop, Hybrid Production Company. I passed my application form to this 40 year old woman on the front des asking me to wait and so I did. I got interviewed by this old man who has beard all over his face. His face was impassive; it was so hard to read. Sadly, I didn’t get the job. I waited there for like an hour and a half and I get nothing. I sighed. Oh well.
Next Stop, TECHnicolor dreams Prod. House, It was like 1 in the afternoon when I arrived there. I could here my stomach grumbling. I feel like my stomach’s eating my own flesh. I haven’t eaten breakfast or lunch yet. I did the same thing; I passed my application form and they asked me to wait. I waited for 30 fucking minutes since the person who would interview is at a meeting. Once again, I didn’t get the job. I’m not qualified or something that what she said. I mean the interviewer said.
Last Stop for today, Dgteyes Productions. Probably the last place I would go today since it’s getting late already and I haven’t eaten anything for the whole day.
I arrived there at around 3 in the afternoon. I did the same thing once again. Passed my application form but this time they asked me to wait. Thank God. I’m really starving.
The front desk girl or should I say secretary led me to a conference room and she told me that the owner will be the one who will interview me which made me even more nervous. I inhaled and exhaled before opening the door. In my surprise I saw Andy. I didn’t know he own this company. Oh well, I just want a job so that I could eat already. I flopped down in a chair in front of him. His face was unreadable, breaking the silence “I can’t believe you didn’t tell me about this!” I exclaimed kinda mad at him for not telling me “I thought you knew” he replied frowning. I rolled my eyes at him.
“I’m Sorry Lauren!” he apologized. I just nod.
“Do you want to interview me or what?” I asked him politely.
“I don’t need to interview you anymore. You got the job. You’re now my new Head Producer. So we’ll be together most of the time.” He said smirking at me.
WOAAH! Is he fucking serious?! I think it’s unfair but this is going to be so much fun! I was jumping up and down like a five year old kid “WOAH THERE! CALM YO ASS!” He grips me with his arm trying to stop me. I kissed him on the cheek.
“Thank you so so so much!! I lo-lo-lo-lo-love you! You’re the best!” I hugged him.
“I know” he winked playfully at me. I punched him on the shoulders but not so hard.
“I wouldn’t let you down! I swear” Asking him to pinky swear with me.
“I got to go. I’m very very Fungry! I haven’t eaten anything the whole day. “ I exclaimed.
“Oh okay! You take care of yourself alright? Btw, don’t forget you start tomorrow! Be here at 10 am. You have a very special client don’t be late!” He informed me, wiking at me. I stuck my tongue out at him as I exited the room. I shouted a very loud Thank you before closing the door. People start to stare at me but I didn’t mind.
I Inhaled and Exhaled. Finally I got a new job. If it wasn’t Andy’s company I still don’t have work by now. And now, Its time for me to celebrate. I headed to the nearest Mcdonalds near Andy’s Company which was 3 blocks away only. Mcdonalds, My favorite place to eat. EVER. I bought my self 6 pieces of chicken nuggets, A quarter pounder burger, large fries, Large Orange Juice and a McFlurry. I maybe a girl but I do have a big appetite like men.
My day started not so good but ended up so well.

So in this chapter, it was all about lauren finding a job and being so hungry. I'm so hungry while I was typing this chapter I havent eaten anything haha. I want mcdonalds right now haha. anyways,

the story behind the name 'Dgteyes' -- Dgt = Digital ; eyes = eyes :)) all in all it means digital eyes. did u see what i did there? :))
