*Bri POV*

I reached my hand out for Luke to take, helping him stand up and handing him his skateboard. We walked outside and started skating down the street, turning into the ice cream shop. I picked up my skateboard and walked into the old shop, the little bell going off signaling a new customer. I turned towards Luke, seeing him look around and taking in his surroundings.

"What do you want?"

"Oh no its fine, I'll pay for my own."

"No. This is my treat, I'm gonna be a nice person and buy you ice cream since you look really sad. Then, we are gonna go back home, have a couple drinks and watch movies all night. Sound like a deal?"

"Doesn't sound too bad.."

"Okay, good, now what do ya want?"

"I'll just have a vanilla milkshake"

I walked up to the counter and looked at all the flavors, pressing my hands against the glass as a smile spread across my face.

This is a lot better than a fancy dinner.

I got a ice cream cone with vanilla, chocolate, and oreo scoops. I got both of our things and walked them to the table.

"Jesus Christ, do you have enough ice cream?"

I sat there for a second, starring at him, then my ice cream cone.

"You never have enough ice cream Hemmings."

*Cameron POV*

I walked back inside, seeing all the people at their usual spot talking about nonsense. I checked my phone, seeing I had a text from Bri saying she didn't feel well and went home. I sighed and went upstairs to the balcony, looking at the view of the beach and all of the lights. I sat there and thought about everything, until I heard someone behind me making me jump up and turn around. I about choked on my spit when I saw the man in front of me, wanting to kick him in the throat.

If you haven't guessed yet, it is drew. He is in a better condition than when I saw him last. He has an expensive all black suit, hair quiffed back and a little muscular than before. I noticed that he has gotten really tan and his eyes are a much darker blue that reminds you of the artic ocean at night making your skin crawl. He smirked at me, looking around as he walked towards me.

"Hmm, fancy seeing you here Cameron, where's Briana? I've been looking for her.."

I clenched my fists together, my jaw locking as i tried to calm myself down.

"That sucks, ya just missed her."

"Where is she then?.... With that punk boy?"

"What?"

"Luke is it?.. They have been really close while you've been out of her life."

"I know that. But I'm back and she loves me. Not him."

"Maybe.. Maybe not."

"What are you doing here anyway?"

"My dad works with tristyns mom. So I mean I kinda have to be here since his company will soon be mine once he retires. And then tristyn will take her mom's place and we will own a company."

"She doesn't even want this job, she wants to work with music."

"Enough about Tristyn and the company, how have you been? Word has it you like to sleep around."

"Shut up Drew, word has it you are the psychotic asshole who has a problem."

"Well that is true, but everyone goes insane sooner or later in this shit of a place. But I'm not the only one going insane here."

"What?"

"Briana has changed too. I mean, dark hair, bad girl punk clothing, smoking and getting drunk almost every day. I was shocked when I heard she was here, well for a little bit, because she isn't the girly type anymore."

"So what? She changed? Everyone has, no matter what, everyone changes. And she is like this since you broke her."

"Oh no, I just started to, you are the one who finished my job. Even though she told you not to go after, she was hoping you would. But she thought you didn't care and she became this. Me and her might not be close anymore, but I know Bri and I know how she is. Yes, you have known each other longer but I'm the first person to break her. And that showed who she really is. I'm a lot smarter than you think Cameron."

"Whatever man, just leave us alone. Leave her alone. I don't want anymore shit that involves you."

"Sorry Dallas, but... I'm never leaving."
