"Again, thank you so much for this, it really means a lot."

"It's just an internship, don't get too excited yet."

"I'm still very thankful and-"

"Yeah yeah, I know. Be here tomorrow at 7:30 A.M, coffee and the paper on my desk before 8:00."

"Yes ma'am, have a good day."

"You too, Miss Parks."

I walked out of my new boss' office, waving at Lily the receptionist.

"Did you get the internship?"

"Yeah! See you tomorrow morning!"

"Yay!! See you tomorrow, Bri!"

I waited for the elevator, walking in and watching the doors close. I did a small squeal and happy dance. When I reached the lobby, I waved at the door man and walked outside to catch my cab. As I was waiting for my cab, I looked up at the large building across the street. Apparently since the boss of Ala Enterprises has retired, he hired a young man, around 26, to take over his company. Everyone has been talking about him, saying he is like a mysterious, sexy business man. I haven't seen him, or heard his name, but I honestly think it's insane to let a 26 year old man take over a company. That's very young to be a CEO, but I guess he is successful considering he is the richest bachelor in New York.

I payed the taxi driver, grabbing my purse as I walked to my apartment complex. Since Jordan bought my apartment, I get to live on at the very top floor, but it's not as nice as most penthouses.

"Hello, John."

"Evening Miss Parks, get the job?"

"Yes I did, do I have any mail today?"

"You have a lot of mail, actually, here you go."

"Thanks John, see ya."

I took my mail and went to the elevator, pressing the pent house button.

I walked out and walked up to my door, searching for my keys in my purse while trying to hold onto my mail. I unlocked the door, tossing my keys and purse on the side table, walking through the small hall and into the living room. I plopped onto my couch, looking through my mail.

"Bill.. Bill.. Magazine.. Paycheck.. Post card.. invitation?"

I looked at the post card, seeing it's from Ireland and Tristyn and Jacob sent it to me.

"Hello from Ireland! We miss you a lot and I hope to see you soon! Also hope everything is doing good in the Big Apple. Talk to you soon. - Tris & Jacob xx"

I smile, walking up and putting it on my fridge, along with all the other post cards they have sent me. I went back to the couch, opening a what looks like invitation.

"Miss Carter,

Since you work for Mrs. Turner, we invite you to our party celebrating the retirement of the boss of Ala Enterprises. Hope to see you there!

- Ala Enterprises"

Hmm, I'll have to talk to Mrs. Turner about this tomorrow if I get the chance, or maybe Lily. I got up and went to my room down the hall, walking into my closet to change. I slipped off my dress and heels, placing my dress in the hamper and my shoes in their normal spot. I grabbed a tshirt and slipped on a pair of leggings, putting my hair in a ponytail. I walked out and turned the closet light off, going into the bathroom to wash my face.

I walked back into my room, seeing it's already 8:30 and I know I should go to bed early. I set my alarm and climbed into bed, mentally preparing myself for tomorrow.
