Chapter 48

*Bri POV*

I let out a breath as i starred at Cameron, waiting for some type of response or reaction from that big speech. After about 30 seconds of us starring at each other, I sighed and was about to paddle away until I felt Cameron grab my arm and pulled me off the board and towards him.

"Cameron wha-"

He had one hand on my waist and the other one was behind my neck as he pulled me into a kiss. It was passionate and longing, I can taste the sea water mixed in with his usual mint gum.

"I love you so much."

With every word, he kissed me, making me giggle and smile at him through all the kisses. I pulled away and just starred at him, his eyes, his lips, his nose.. Everything, just wondering why i always told myself i didn't need him when he is all i need.

"Okay, I'm gonna head back to my house to shower, and you can come by later if you want?"

He nodded and smiled at me, kissing me on the forehead and hopping back on his board. I climbed back onto mine, paddling towards the shore and giving the people mt board. I started to walk towards my stuff and realized Luke is still there..

Hmm, okay Luke. if that's how you wanna play.

I made sure my boobs looked good and fixed my hair, making sure it's not a middle part and running my fingers through the curls. I walked towards my stuff, bending down for my towel and my bag. I felt his stare on me, making me glance his way seeing his eyes are wide open along with his mouth. The girl looked up at me, glaring at me seeing as I took Luke's attention.

"Hi Luke, I thought you had work today? I mean I was supposed to go to work but I decided to take the day off. Did you have any breakfast this morning? Cause if so can you run by the store for me, so you can like pick up another girl or?"

He was silent, the girl looking confused and looked at Luke, wondering what's going on probably. I laughed and walked away, holding my middle finger in the air as i walked back to the house.

I threw my stuff on the couch, going upstairs to jump in the shower. The hot water ran down my body, cleaning off the sand and the ocean water off my hair and body. I heard my bathroom door open, oh its probably Cameron.

"Cameron it's not nice to-"

I opened the curtain and saw Tristyn leaning against my bathroom door making me scream bloody Mary and close back my curtain. I slowly peaked out of the curtain, my big blue eyes starring at her tan frame hunch over laughing so hard she soon fell over. I soon started to laugh at her, seeing she has hiccups now making her look like an idiot. I put shampoo and conditioner in my hair, rinsing off and turning off the shower. I put my towel around my body and stepped out, looking at tristyn as she recovered and stood up.

"What are you doing here?!"

"Well I was just coming here to visit and I was at your front door for like 10 minutes ringing the door bell so I just like walked in and I heard the shower running so I had to find the right hall to your room. Oh and this other guy was in here and it was like a weird stare down so I just awkwardly walked up the stairs and I ran in here. But he was really hot though. Have you hooked up with him? Are you guys dating?-"

"Tristyn if you ask one more question I'm gonna cut you."

"Um, okay."

"1. His name is Luke, Luke Hemmings.

  2. We have hooked up plenty of times.

  3. No we aren't dating nor talking anymore."

"Hmm.. Is he good?"

"is he what?"

"Like, is he good. Like in bed?"

"Um, yeah. Considering we have done it quit a few times yes. Yes he is."

"Well, uh, that's good I guess... What was I gonna.. Oh yeah! My mom is here for this job dinner party tonight and wants us to go. I already got your outfit so it's okay."

"Oh lemme just tell Cam he can't come over."

"Wait Cameron?"

"Uh yeah? We kinda like made up about almost an hour ago. He was gonna come over and chill."

"Thank god!! I already invited him and I wasn't gonna tell you he was going cause I thought yall were still in that weird move across the country fight."

"Ha Ha Ha, funny. But it's nice here. You and the boys should move here. It's really nice plus I have a job anyway."

"Hm, that's not too bad. I just have to talk with them. I'm fine with it since my mom lives here now."

"Anyway, where's this outfit?"
