Ba-Donk-A-Donk as the basketball's surface met the concrete floor and bounced to kiss my cousin's lips with great force.
"OUCH!" Jane blurted out in shock.
I shook my head. She could've easily avoided it if she wasn't staring passionately on that handsome man named Anthony.
Oh, the foolish things we do when smitten by love
"It's okay sis. Being hit by a ball won't kill you." said I
Using my navy blue bow tie, I gently wiped her bruised lips powdered with dust.
"Arghh, but it hurts sis!" she whined as her eyes were about to turn red.
"Shh, don't cry. Look, your crush is approaching!"
"What?! Wait, how do I look?" she said while walking back and forth in an attempt to calm herself.
A few minutes later, a tall and slender figure appeared in front of us. My eyes immediately roamed from his sun-kissed face down to his metal black rubber shoes.
Yep, Jane's dream boy is here.
When Jane saw Anthony, she blushed heavily and could not look straight unto his eyes.
"Miss, I'm sorry." Anthony spoke to Jane as a hint of concern flashed on his eyes.
"Y-yes, it's okay. I'm fine." she hurriedly replied.
Cann youu feell thee llove tonighttt? It is where they are.
Suddenly, an unfamiliar and sunburnt face popped up behind Anthony.
"Miss, are you alright?" - unknown male human.
"Of course, she is." I told him while showing two thumbs up and smiling brightly too, hoping it will convince him.
Surprisingly, this unknown guy merely looked at me and never replied.
Am I thin air?
He averted his gaze and spoke to Anthony.
"Hmm, bro, I think you should take her to the nurse office." - unidentified human
"But she said, she's alright." Anthony protested.
"Bro, we have to be sure." he insisted and wink at him.
"Yes, I will." Anthony smirked.
Oh, wow. A sudden change of mind.
