And for your concern, no there won't be any spoilers, I haven't even seen the movie yet.
So, if you can't tell by the title and if you have been living under a rock, Avengers Endgame came out today. And there were early showings last night. And it seemed like a good majority of my school went to those early showings mentioned above. Well it has been almost impossible to survive the school day without hearing spoilers. Everything went pretty well, hearing a few things here and there but I didn't believe the biggest one cause the rumor was started by one of my teachers who is the type of person who would say something sarcastically and then one of her honors students would end up taking it seriously. So let me just give you a little taste of how I pictured the conversation went down (no, I'm not going to say the spoiler unless you count death as a spoiler. And if so, where have you been the past ten years???):
my funny, super sarcastic teacher which everyone loves- *overhears some talking about endgame, starts talking with them and messing around*
a stupid kid- *says something kinda stupid*
my teacher- "Oh Yeah? Well guess what? blah blah blah blah blah blah dies!" (while yelling funnily)
a different, still stupid kid- What? blah blah blah blah blah dies????
same stupid kid- *tells everyone he knows*
Okay, flashback over. And I heard something on the bus but I'm choosing to ignore it.
Now back to the real reason I'm here.
Marvel movies have always been a family thing for me. Idk why, I guess it just started when my dad introduced Iron Man to us (or it could be the fact none of my other friends are in as deep as I am, or even into it at all). But I didn't start to get into it like really into it until I saw homecoming. After homecoming, I fell in love with Tom Holland which further led to Marvel, which is how I ended up here, stressing and crying and getting happy over simple things like the fact i get to see my baby boi reunite with his irondad again (hopefully. Please pretty please let it happen). ANd it was my first fandom lol (kinda).
And just a little fun fact about me, here are my favorite marvel characters/superheroes (and I also love all the people who play them:
1. Spiderman/ Peter Parker (duh)
2. Ironman/ Tony Stark (awe)
3. James Buchanan Barnes(rip)
4. Loki (hehehe)
5. Captain America/ Steve Rogers (captain 'murica)
6. literally everyone else I love them all................
um
so
I started writing this the day endgame came out and I did not finish it. I was basically going to say how I was mad at my family for not really wanting to go see it, but it all worked out in the end. We ended up going to see it the day after it came out, and it was amazing. Definitely worth sweating five pounds off (it was so hot in there they had to bring portable fans in). And I actually shed a tear in the end. it could be one of the best movies of all time and I actually left the theater in a stable mindset, and I feel complete, although I thought I was going to end up being a total mess like I was after infinity war (ah the memories that come with that), but I was content. I felt like the story had come to an end and it was a perfect ending. Now its time for far from home *evil devil emoji*.
and my teacher ended up spoiling it to my class that Monday. Boy was I glad that I already saw it and I was actually able to laugh at everyone crying.
and the conversation actually went how I thought it would lol.
