ELIZABETH POV:

'I just heard meliodas scream! Is there something wrong?' I think to myself. I rush to his room to see him panting, sitting on the end of his bed.

"What's wrong, Sir Meliodas?" I ask, concerned for him."Oh, it was nothing... just a bad dream I guess." He replied, I could tell he was frightened by whatever dream he had.

MELIODAS POV

"What was it about?" Elizabeth asked and I replied in a slow tone, kind of sad at the same time "Well, it was about my father. He's-" I cut myself off 'Wait, I can't just say he's the demon king. That would be stupid...'
"Let's just say he's interesting." I continue, Elizabeth has a concerned sparkle in her eyes for me. 'She has such cute puppy eyes. Well, eye, because she covers the other one up most of the time.'

She just smiled at me, showing her perfect white teeth; so I smiled back at her to be polite.

"The sun's rising, Elizabeth, so i guess we can wake the others up now to get to work." I say, fake smiling "Alright, Sir Meliodas! I will wake them up for you!" She replied in a chirpy tone, skipping out the room.

'God, she is so beautiful. If that 'father' of mine touches her, he will be dead.'

Everyone is on the first floor of The Boar Hat, setting up the tables and chairs. Meliodas is cooking, but he looks very worried.

THIRD PERSON POV

Gowther looked over at Meliodas, examining him with his hand on his hip. "What's wrong, gowther?" Diane asks, taking one of her daily pills to stay small. "The captain has very mixed emotions right now, and his stress level is at 76%." Gowther replied, in his usual, emotionless tone.

"What could be troubling him so much?" Said Elizabeth. Then it hit her. 'It must be about that dream he had last night, about his father. He just said he was interesting, but J think it's more then that, js his father a bad person?' Elizabeth thought to herself.

MELIODAS' POV

'They don't know this, but I genuinely am scared if that dream spoke the truth. If I was actually such a dumbass to open that box with the lock and key... J don't want it to hurt Elizabeth, even if it, well, I guess I could say kill, but I was cursed, so; seriously injure me.'

The bell of the door rang as a new customer came in. I swing around, saying "Hello, first customer! Welcome to the boar hat, how may we serve you?"

The customer is in a dark brown hooded robe, covering their face. They just stand there, doing nothing. Everyone looks at the weird sighting until the person looks up, and uncovers their hood.

It reveals short blonde hair, and a sparkle like smile. It was Elaine. I suddenly get an uneasy feeling in my stomach telling me something is wrong with this. She's supposed to be dead, so why is she here?

Of course Ban and king react greatly to this, so they rush towards her and great her with a tight hug. "Elaine, how are you alive?" Both of them question her in a delighted tone.

'ELAINE' POV

'Now all I neeed to do is befriend Meliodas. I'm sure this will be easy, but he's giving me a glare ftom across the room. I just have to sleep in his room, or I could try and not wake everyone up by the flooor boards creaking  making it from one room to the other.'

"Oh, hey guys! Don't ask for how I got here, I just did." I exclaimed smiling at them "And, is there anywhere for me to sleep tonight? Like, the captains room maybe?" Ban and King rose their eyebrows to say 'Why the captains?' And Meliodas' glare got more intense from across the room, leaving me to think 'I think he's onto me, don't worry, my son, the curse will be lifted soon. Thanks for opening that box so I can possess any corpse.

MELIODAS' POV

'That's not Elaine, and I know it. I better share a room with her so she- no, they, doesn't decide to do anything to the crew.'

A fake smile went on my face "Yeah sure, she can share rooms with me, but not in the same bed. We'll have to get a spare hammock." I said, in suspicion to her. "Wow, thanks captain Meliodas! You're a nice guy, but don't worry Ban."
She looked to Ban and continued "Only I could fall for you, got it?" Ban nodded in agreement, trusting her and the captain.

TIMESKIP TO END OF THE DAY

NO ONES POV

Meliodas and the crew had just finished running the boar hat, with Ban being drunk as usual. All Meliodas could do was think about 'Elaine' and if she hurt anyone of his crew members. 'I'll keep on eye on her tonight' he thought to himself.

MELIODAS' POV

'If she even tries to hurt anyone with her undead hands, I'll kill her for sure.'

I was very worried for my comrades, even thought i should be happy she came back and visited, I can't stop thinking 'Why did she choose my room to sleep in?'

"Alright, everyone, I guess it's time to sleep. You don't know what could happen tomorrow." I look over at Elaine 'Or tonight' I think.

Everyone went up to their rooms, including me. Elaine had set the hammock up, and she lay facing the wall, so I could easily spy on her through the night.

Four hours of watching her  later, I start to get unbelievably sleepy. I shit my eyes and hear a little giggle followed by Elaine saying "Goodnight, sleep tight, Meliodas."
