A World Without You

NO ONE'S POV

It was in the middle of the night, Meliodas was sleeping and Elaine's hand was hovering over him.

She touched his head and whispered "Alluminza ta karu de zamina" And a black aura blasted from her hand into Meliodas' head.

Meliodas woke up and saw Elaine, he was paralyzed, hut he was screaming in agony because of how much it hurt,  a wicked smile grew on Elaine's face.

All of a sudden, the rest of the sins, Hawk and Elizabeth barged into the door and witnessed Elaine hurting Meliodas.

Ban screamed "Hey! What's going on-"

He saw Elaine, the love of his life, hurting his best friend, the captain.

"I sense a very high power level in this room, possibly above 100,000" Gowther exclaimed.

"Elaine what are you doing?!" King yelled at her

"I'm not Elaine" she answered, and the whole room fell into silence except fof meliodas' screams. "...and I am fixing something I should've done long ago." Her eyes turned black, and she let go of Meliodas' head, causing him to fall off the bed and begin to slowly sit up.

Merlin shoots a magical spike at Elaine, but before it hits her she went to dust, and a demon like spirit came out of the ashes. In a deep voice, it said "Outside the Boar Hat, Meliodas. Five days." And it vanished.

MELIODAS' POV

Everyone came rushing towards me at once, asking questions like "Are you alright?" "What happened?" "Who was that?" Etc.

I shake my head, squeezing my index finger and thumb on my nose in-between my eyes to try and concentrate on what just happened.

"It was the demon king..." I say slowly.

Everyone goes silent, and looks at me in horror.

"Why did he come for you?!" Diane asked loudly with a sad look.

I closed my eyes and sighed. "I don't know, but something feels off with me..." I pause and shake my head "...Maybe I should just get some rest and think about it in the morning."

THREE DAYS LATER

NO ONE'S POV

Everyone has been trying to figure out about what went on. Meliodas was stressing out over Elizabeth's and Liones safety, but only kept that a secret.

Everyone except for Meliodas and Elizabeth were at the Boar Hat, since they were looking for clues in the town and forest, even reading about Demons in the library.

Elizabeth sat down at the same table Meliodas was on, she could tell he looked worried.

"Hey Meliodas." She said in a sweet manner, smiling at him.

MELIODAS' POV

Elizabeth just sat down next to me, saying "Hey Meliodas" in such a kind way, it comforted me a little hearing her soothing voice.

"Hello.." I sigh.

"Are you still trying to figure out what that was?"

"...Yes."

I suddenly feel a tear run down my cheek, and it catches Elizabeth's attention.

"Are you okay Sir Meliodas?" She asked me.

"Yes..." I look up at her "But... what if I'm not able to protect Liones? What if I'm not able to protect you? What about the Seven Deadly Sins and Hawk?" More tears began to flow down my cheeks.

She touched my soft blonde hair, and dragged me into a hug. "It's okay, you'll be able to save everyone from him. I know you will, you're strong."

Her words struck right into me, she said I could do it,she said I was strong, but am I really?

There is only two days left, and my worries are getting worse about it all.
